Mein kismat ko nahin mante, Khuda insaan ko wohi deta hai, jis ki liya insaan khud mehnat kare. Tum mehnat nahin karoge, to phir Khuda tumhari tamanna kyoun puri karey?
Waise itna bhi maat ghabrao, mein aap kiliye dua karongi, aur tum thore si mehnat karo!!!!

I also have the Halal and Haram problem in my workplace. Every time we go out I have to stick to Vegetarian options or Fish because the places we end up gong arent halal, but if you have been used to it, since a child it stops bothering you after a while.
Mujhe zada mushkil taab lagta hai, jab woh saab sharab peene keliye jate hai, aur mein baar baar inkaar karti houn. But it is part of life... dealing with situations like this. I think that kind of work culture is very common in places like china and Japan.

I work in a large organisation, where there are only 3 muslims including myself. I only know one of the other muslims, who fast selectively. I have a really supportive team, there quite understanding about it, and my manager is letting me work flexible hours, so i come in early and leave early. I make it home in time for Ifthari. I think the uk organisations are becoming very multi-culturally aware and are trying to make it easier for the employee's.
It is a challenge trying to balance work and homelife for a women these days, especially when you have ethnic cultural barriers, such as a women is responsible for running the house... it makes Ramadhan even more difficult to cope with... but my pappa is cool and helps me out loads He is the best dad in the world

Hijaab pe restriction lagana buri baat hai, lekin soocho aisa wo kyoun karte hai. Saree duniye mein khouf pehlgaya hai, ke muslim terrorist hai, and France is trying to maintain its power over the nation. I think it is really bad. Yaha Uk, mein koi restrictions nahi, aur 80% of the muslims dont wear them. I think it takes a really strong person to wear a hijaab in western society, someone that is strong enough to handle the bullying and abuse and constant ignorance that they are faced with in day to day life. I guess i have moved away from the topic... so i will shut up.
By the way, in the UK, there is an excellent show on Wednesday night, 9pm on BBC2, if your interested in the political stereotypes/issues muslims are faced with. This week thay talked about Sayed Khutb... very interesting.

What are you talking about teen tracker, there is loads of money in IT especially if you are a business analyst. Web developing doesnt have as much money, but money isnt everything, you need to be in a job you enjoy. Thats what is important. There are excellent career opportunities in IT worldwide, especially in UK.

Love can be defined, but it is different for everyone. Some people would die for love, others couldnt build up the courage to ask there parents to let them marry the person of their dreams.

I think your partly right desert boy.
Although i have been born and raised in the uk, i come from a very traditional family, that has enforced the ethics and values of religion and pakistani culture in us.
I know some of the stuff i have said probably makes you think that i am a tart or whatever, but i see this forum as a bit of entertainment where i can pretend to be somnething i am not, and see how the world views me, and hopefully realise that the person i really am, who lived with all the restrictions and struggled for opportunities has actually benefitted from it all.

I dont hide my age, i am 25... and very proud off all i've achieved at such a young age
Flirting is not for the souless, infact, flirting is a great charachteristic, so long as you dont abuse it too much, that you get a reputation. Every girl likes to hear, "your eyes are so pretty, you have a lovely smile" etc.
And iman is not related to having a soul. Everyone has a soul, sometimes good, sometimes bad, and it spreads across all religions and castes, so that is absolute rubbish in my opinion, but i wouldnt possibly want to change your opinion desert boy, because we live in a world, where people do not value others opinions, and i dont want to be one of them
In conclusion flirting is cool... but in the right proportions

Nahi Khushi, you are wrong, because the mans mother in law is either the daughter or the mother. Know if the mans mother in law is the Mother, then the daughter is his wifes bhabhi, in which case he is walking with his wifes bhabhi's daughter in law, and if his mother in law is the daughter then he is walking with his wifes Khalla. His Wifes Taee or Chachi is not going to be his mother in laws mums daughter. Do you understand, or shall i explain it better for you, with diagrams
Dont worry, as you grow up, you will begin to understand these things better
