well technically we r improving but when it comes to script and gud treatment we r still living in 80's i totally agree with the guyz saying that paki movies will be a dead flop in india if they release there, bollywood is not just ahead of us in terms of technology they r exploring new subjects for example if they r releasing 4 movies on divali all of them r absolutely different from each other they have got soo much variety on the other hand if we r releasing 4 movies 3 of them will have shan & moamar rana so how can u expect them to be even released in india.we shud concentrate more on overseas market in order to make name for paki movies so that people around the world atleast know who is shan and who is moamar rana etc etc.

well this is another example of jahalat or u can call un professionalism, when u dont have enuff cinemas to release ur films then why the hell u r releasing 3 heavy budget movies on the same day ??? its a total shame and trust me no film will be a massive hit in current situation the business is gonna be divided and dont get shocked if u find kkl beating all the new movies on eid.

Geo knows abt piracy of kkl they knew it way back when it first got out on www.pakmusic.com cuz it was not a pirated print recorded from theater it was original dvd rip and i feel that Geo failed badly to stop all this piracy and stuff.

Geo at that time promoted the film heavily here in the UK and basically everyone was dying to watch the film. Alot hype and excitement had been created regarding KKL.
The worse thing that happened to KKL and its chances of getting released overseas that after about 1 month of its Pakistani release the film was available for everyone to download and watch over the internet.
Worse to follow was that just after a couple of more weeks the original DVD of KKL was selling openingly every where in the UK.
The fact is everyone who was interested in watching KKL has know seen the movie either from the net or by buying the DVD.
With two big Bollywood films coming out next month one does not see many people going to watch KKL except for die hard fans. We all now how patriotic we are when it comes to Indian films. The fact is tha the Indians are not releasing a film called "Johnny Gaddar" here in the UK next week because they realise no Pakistanis will come and see the film because of Ramadan. 50% of the audience for Indian films are us Pakistanis.
One has to totally blame Geo for mess. This film could have truly put Pakistani Cinema on the world map.
The British media is dying to watch something like this.
Geo still should make an effort to release the film here and also have a special screening for the British media.
The film should also be sent to the upcoming London film festival.

The only people who are going to benefit from this are the producers, distributors and Cinema owners.
The only thing I fear is not if this film does do well at the Box office then other Pakistani producers might follow Aslam Bhatti.
We are already outsourcing alot of work to the Indians. Whats needed is that we revive our own industry and make films with complete Pakistani talent.
Something which Shoaib Manssor has done.
Coming back to Godfather the film is getting released on Eid at a new Cinema in Hyderabad.
Also two new Cinemas are opening up in Rawalpindi on Eid.
totally agree wid u like i said earlier to me its an indian film with some pakistani actors making small appearences to make it release in pakistan and the worst thing is that the movie havent got the best theater's either it is releasing in average cinema's in karachi along with cineplex cuz the three main stream cinemas are showing kkl & mohabbttan sachiyaan.

well in case of kkl the promos were different like i said earlier first they introduced the characters then they promoted the music and in the end they showed the full theaterical promos.

Mohabbattan sachiyan is a same old crapp with new sharp colors and crisp digital sound but the content is same old sh*tt i remember when i was watching kkl in cineplex they showed the trailor of mohabbttan sachiyan and entire theatre was laughing it was like out dated 80's love + action + romance + comedy + dramatic + tragic movie a typical masalah movie.

Yoyo u gotta be kidding man the promotion for kkl on GEO was massive and it was trend setting and ARY is failed to follow that trend GEO promoted the movie step by step first they promote the music of kkl and after the soundtrack release they agressively promoted the movie unlike ARY where they are showing same old style promos and even the music of Godfather is not properly released.

well Geo has that same promotional style in pakistan as well it create some curiousity and very soon they ill be coming up with song teasers and then full promos.
