I'm very, very impressed by the "Mehki Hawa" number. It beats the crap out of ANY song which has come out that part of the world in recent times. Very nice melody, soothing, extremely well composed and sung. Amazing.

They should totally dismantle the film studios in Pakistan and let the bharteez take over and show them how to make films. I mean what crap -- why arent these educated, decent people in Lahore and Karachi stepping up with some decent scripts and decent films? Why is everyone playing dead? Why can not we have decent cinema without this Gujjar/Sangeeta/Syed Noor trash? I'm talking about URBAN cinema and not the village choorian/gujjar trash!

^ Are we talking about a 5 crore Khilona/Sher-e-Lahore here? Which means all the smut and the gore, just a bit more ritzy now? Somehow Sangeeta's films never agreed with my sensibilities. I don't expect that to change either, which is actually a good thing :)

They could have easily shortened the film by an hour and made the story more interesting. It was too dull, the music TOO cheap [except the title track and the Laila number] the acting was just OK. I'd just watch this film for Talat Hussein's amazing performance, he's the only redeeming factor in the flick. BUt yeah, content wise its EONS ahead of the other Lahore made stuff!

He's only made two decent films, Jeeva and Sargam. And maybe Deewane Tere Oyar Ke. Couldn't understand much of Choorian, and I don't like Saima one bit, so there goes Majajan...

the two picks undoubtedly have to be Ajnabee Shehr Mein and Khuda Ke Liye. Tarap and Jang will probably be crap -- Momi Rana should find a better name for his film [heard it was previously called Lahore??] Khulle Asmaan... can go in either direction.

good feedback folks!!!
aanizdabst: We seriously need to push these folks to do it. Ot atleast talk about it given the odd chance that they may actually come across it. REOFORM is what the lahore industry needs bad!!!
charizmatic: I doubt if anyone spreads rumors. Javed SHeikh has been shooting his Asman Ke Neeche film for the last decade now. God knows when he'll release it -- Meera is already turning really old you know!
shahrukh khan: I seriously hope you're not speculating. If its gonna release in Auggie, we need some promos now plz!!!! MANSOOR dude WILL YOU PLZ WAKE UP NOW?!?!?!
yoyo: Given these attitudes we need to ditch Lollywood and get another movie industry in another city. Anyone for Zollywood in Zhob?!?!?!

Someone tell him to make that film FAST and release it before the cast turns 60 :S Why can't these people EVER stick to their stated schedules for the production and release of their films. It's always such a drag. Only Reema did it on time and she has to be commended for that.

I have NO IDEA how they're going to include that guy (gal?) in the film. But Saqib Malik has a certain tendency to include the such folks in his videos, like he did in Na Re Na and Behti Naar [the first gay vid].

Thanks for all your feedback Mr NIce and charizmatic! I believe ASM is really important specifically for Ali Zafar as not only would he make his cinema debut but the film's soundtrack is also going to be his second album, I believe, and I guess he has stalled its release for the film. So whatever they do, they should do it fast coz otherwise Ali Zaf is going to be old news with Huqa Pani [rel 2003] getting stale!!

OK since you lack the most basic reading comprehension,I'll have to TRANSLATE everything. The fact is that your so-called reviewer didn't even WATCH this film. And you're too thick to see through that. The faults pointed out are cut-and-pasted from the various Bollywood sites which regularly feature film reviews. Mark my words, this person did NOT watch this film because he has NO IDEA what it is about. Period.

dearie...stop pooping in your pants. This so called reviewer you have on this board doesn't even have the vaguest idea what the film is about, neither do you. The people behind the film were clever enough not to reveal the ACTUAL theme of the film, the audience was sort of fooled by the trailers/story leaks which indicated a normal love triangle kinda film. Anyway, you Urdu mediums who don't even know the rules of TYPING let alone posting on the net can have a blast ripping this film off. Good luck :)

People, beware that this review is bogus. The whole plot about the Sajid H-Resham-Ali T-Zara S angle has been talked about to death, the whole world knows it. Every Pak forum has a thread on it. While reading this so-called "review" I noticed that everything we knew previously has been restated.
And then this guy talks about SCREENPLAY, does he even know what screenplay IS? "The climax is a letdown"...uhhhh like did you even sit through it in the first place.
I'm sure about it because this person has not even TOUCHED upon the central theme of the film, which is NOT a love triangle.
Trust desis to do all kind of hookie stuff. Typical Pakistani attitude: Diss and ditch anything because of your personal bias.
