A local court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sunny Deol in a cheque-dishonour case.

The warrant issued by a metropolitan magistrate charges Ajay Singh Deol alias Sunny Deol under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act which deals with offence of dishonouring of cheque.

City-based Bonik Travel Agency is the complainant in the case. Deol had purchased Mumbai-London air tickets from the agency and had paid through a cheque.

However the cheque bounced, the agency claimed adding it had written to Deol in this regard but did not get any response.
