our federal minister for education......

mohteram allama gen.javed ashraf qazi LAANATULLAH ALAIH has said that there is no need to teach abt namaz, the most important rukn-e-islam.so the gov.is soon to exclude all topics abt namaz from islamic studies.
first they removed the jihad topic from the syllabus, now its namaz,if things keep on going this way pretty soon we will have kalma also excluded from the syllabus

Govt. ka kaam hamesha say aesa hee hay. wo public ko others issues main uljha kar doosray kaam khamushi se kar latey hain. Jesa kay aajkal Kala Bagh dam kay issure par uljhaya howa hay or international market main petrol kay price main kamee honay kay bawajood Pakistan main price wohee hain.

Isis tarah ya govt. kee policy ban gayee hay kay public ko aese issues main uljhaya jaye and obey thee commands of their God Fathers.

Aab dekhna ye hay kay public, politicians and religious scholars ka reaction kiya hota hay.

Agar aap loog samajhtay hain kay is par ham loog kuch kar saktay hain to most welcome.

namaz is the most basicthing of our religion and so shd nt b xcluded frm the syllabus

namaz nahi exclude ki, only higher level pey namaz parhney ka tareeqa xclude kia hey kiu key it is assumed that every1 knows how to offer prayer.

the govt has only removed the method of namaz from the syllabus.the have cited the differences which different sects have in their method of offering namaz as the main reason.

I think that this is a lame excuse.

Posted on 12/28/2005 1:52:21 AM

yup,it is a lame excuse.but thanx to the general public's protest, they now say any such move is not under consideration

Posted on 12/28/2005 8:03:23 PM

they were just testing the water.i think they should work more on their conditioning programs.who knows, maybe some time after 2,3 years, there would be no "general public's protest"   ;-)

Posted on 12/28/2005 9:17:53 PM

well who knows?may be after 2 or 3 years there would be no puppet gov. in pakistan.wishful thinking

Posted on 12/28/2005 9:53:44 PM

yeah wishful thinking indeed :-)

Posted on 12/29/2005 12:59:34 AM

i think its a better decision, cuz yaha pak mai itne firqe hai k har firqe ka namaz parhne ka tareeqa thora different hai, jesa k shia, asar or zohrain ki saath parhte hai or sunni alag,ahl-e-hadees serf farz namaz parhte hai jab k sunni or shia farz-o-sunnah dono parhte hai..........

ahann,,
bad shaw and alone/madgirl ki baat to hum ne sochi hi nahi thi

agar sirf higher level pe exclude kiya hai tareeka to there s nothing wrong in it
hamare han mostly bache Quran pak parhne madrisa wagera mei jaate hein,, Quran pak, namaz parhna + ayaat unhein wahan bhi sikhaya ja sakta hai
aur phir sects wali baat bhi theek hai,, its not a lame excuse coz hamre han yeh masla bohot important hai

lekin iss ka matlab yeh nahi k religious taleem hi exclude kar di jae
iss mei humein Islam ki asal ruuh, history, Quran pak ki translation aur explanation bhi to sikhai ja sakti hai na
wot do u think

Posted on 12/29/2005 3:21:57 PM

gov.now denies any such move, which clearly means their motive was not so good, when they faced stiff opposition they retreated, for the time being that is

Posted on 12/29/2005 4:12:17 PM

well islamic studies ko exclude hargiz nahi karna chaahiye is baat se mai bhi itefaaq karti hoo, jesa k higher level per hume quranic translations, hadiths or ethics parhai jaani chaahiye lakin is waqt maamla serf namaz ka hai,i think jo decision government ne liya hai namaz k baare mai thats quite reasonable,or us ki mukhalfat nahi karna chaahiye cuz is waqt pak mai 32 se zada farqa mojood hai or har kisi ka apna ek alag andaaz hai ab aap khud socho is maamle se mazhabi inteshaar phel sakta hai

Posted on 12/29/2005 4:20:15 PM

well, madgirl, your argument does carry weight, but just think k syllabus main namaz bhi 25 saal se mojood he aur ye various firqas that u reffered to,ye bhi kai sadion se chale a rahe hain.sectarion violence bhi ab pehle ki nisbat kafi kum ho chuka he,to phir akhir ab aisi konsi afat aai thi k namaz ko syllabus se nikal dia jay.all these are as the-one said lame excuses.first they did away with jihad saying that it arouses feelings of hate towards nonmuslims now namaz is supposed to creat differences among the muslims.if all this goes uncheked, one day they will do awy with kalma as well, since it is also not agreed upon by all the sects

Posted on 12/29/2005 10:22:09 PM

Agree with nikama

Posted on 12/30/2005 11:34:39 AM

and besides if the gov.was so scrupulous in this case, why did they back away?
