A Lonely Ballad

It’ not enough
For me to take your place
And I'm told I'm not that strong
I'm too weak and desecrate

It’s not that much
That I ask for in return
What I’ve wanted for so long
But no matter what it still hurts

Is it called love
Or is it something else
Something that’s completely wrong
And should never be felt

I'm standing on the ledge
Teetering over the side
Nothing left to do
Nothing left to hide.

And as the ache spreads
Not enough to be sane
Just wild over you
As I try to abstain

Yet as I look ahead
Or upon my choices in the past
As if time itself subdues
And all else swirls in a flash

Loneliness, loneliness,
with no one to talk to,
alone in the world,
no one to confide in.

He has no on to help him overcome this sickness, loneliness.
It is death treading his steps.
There is no cure.

Loneliness, loneliness,
hurting inside, comfortless and cold.
No friends’ laughter to cheer him up,
no passion in his heart.

Loneliness is a constant companion,
keeping any hope of happiness away.
Loneliness is like a wander into the unknown,
filled with doubt.

Loneliness, loneliness,
like a dark abyss spiraling downwards.

Loneliness, Loneliness,
Too trivial too consider,
Too important to forget.

nice tasha, but so sad too. No one is akela (alone) in the world, only look inside yourself and find who you are and you have a best friend, only look to the left or right and there is a potential friend, only look above and God is smiling on you, only look in your heart and you will find happiness, only look here and you will find me.....
