Asslaam-o-Alaikum -
I have been looking for "Raj hansnee" (http://www.angelfire.com/pa2/humPakistan/people6.html). it was made two years ago. it is a true story of a hindu girl in LA who converts to islam for this pakistani guy. girl becomes a very nice and praticing muslim whereas guy is mostly a so-called moderate (non-practicing) muslim like myself and many of us. when they have a kid, the guy runs away to pakistan and girl goes after him to get the kid.
in real life, the firl met bushra ansari since guy is her relative. bushra ansari told her that she cannot help but she will surely make a drama. bushra did and she knew that PTV will not run it for whatever stupid reasons so she took it straight to a private channel. i think either Indus or ARY ran the drama.
in real life, the girl is more solid on islam and beleives that it is Allah's test. she is back in LA and is still fighting the case in a pakistani court. Angalina Malik (http://www.pakvibes.com/art.php?action=view&item=48) was the heroine
