I agree on the notion that relgion is more important than culture, but Islam isn't a religion, it's a 'deen' which means way of life. I've never felt isolated or confused because my parents have followed the deen more than the Pakistani culture.

Also, Chandramuki's on a trip up north, she's not expected back until late next week.

that is very true,i forgot that point, islam is a deen, a way of life, god ur sooooo intellegent, mashallah. . I think u r in many ways better knowledge in these things than us.
