Agreed to Bazi about having greater emotions about Allah and at least at par for prophets as for Prophet Mohammed SAW. Unfortunately Muslims failed to protest aginst cartoons of Allah and His other messengers. That, however, in no way restricts them from protesting against sacrilegious depictions of the beloved Prophet.

Protesting the way muslims have is not Islamic. Guised in these protests are feelings of Muslims about westerners gradual control on them and helplessness of Muslims world over.

Trade and economic boycott is a very effective tool. Unfortunately, this is the only tool Muslims have and they play it every time.

Why do you think other European countries published those cartoons knowing it will draw huge protests against them and possible boycott of their exporting goods? My friends, they did that to show the unity of European nations and to send a message to the Islamic world, "Dare you boycott Danish products". Boycott Geramn, British, French... products too!!

I agree with bazi, freeze oil exports to Europe. Show that unity of Muslims on the issue of Prophet Mohammed SAW.

That won't happen in million years. Those countries (at least their rulers) have a lot at stake with Europeans. They can't risk that. After all Muslims want lavish lives too.

yes that's what i think too and it;s very unfortunate otherwise oil is the key weapon right now muslims have they can use....but alas

It still is a very viable tool. Exactly 30 years ago, Arab countries enforced oil embargo on US and western countries. It was very effective. What happened in reaction? No violence or death threats happened. They however executed many leaders who masterminded the embargo. They did not make any boasted claims over it but they achieved what they wanted. This and a plan to ensure oil supply to their countries will never cease covertly ensued. If that meant war, assassinations, blackmailing, or any thing else, they put their goal ahead of all means.

We know how they did that. Their highly educated and shrewed minds focused on the bigger picture. They kept a maske of peace and friendship up while planned and executed their strategies without claiming their small successes.
