A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

searching for answers
that evaded me for so long,
i got lost in a maze of treachery
hidden under a mask of innocence;

it’s been so long
words kept me awake
all night long, making
me restless and confused;

drowning in the wishes
of a long lost past,
i let my life down,
i let myself down;

in the midst of the night
under the velvet skies
i surrendered to life
i whisper for forgiveness;

so with a smile on my lips
and a wish on my heart
i give faith(hope) one more reason

at the stroke of midnight
the light filters in
still asleep
stepping on one, two many things
stumbling and cursing
i make my way out

living in a circus

juggling everything that is thrown

putting on a brave face
wearing a new make-up each time

The pinnacle awaits your arrival,

Happiness wants to rest by your side,

When you feel you are as good as dead.

He is waiting to gift you with all you want,
While the horror of ‘losing it all’ to you begins to haunt.

So what are you waiting for
Everytime you feel you have reached the dead end,
Bear in mind that you have to end their wait,
And give your life a whole new bait.

the grey sky looming above,
rain drops still dripping down
from the pregnant clouds above,
we set out on our journey once again;

around and around we go
in slow circles, moving
to the beat of the thunder
and rain that surrounds us;

as the droplets hit the ground,
shattered realizations lay scattered
reminding me nothing is same
as it seems to be;

as another memory turns to dust
i cut the lifeline that attaches me to the past
and i shove it back into the depths
where nothing will ever bring it back alive;

the rain does nothing to stop our journey,
never forgetting, who we are
we walk these streets of madness,
knowing that,without each-other…..
we are simply incomplete.

as I stand here
on the threshold of
something new
life has come to a pause;

everything has just
been temporarily
put on hold or
slowed down to a crawl;

emotions,
thoughts,
desires,
and dreams;

like a kid stepping into a school
after the holidays
everything seems brand new
while its all the same;

nothing has changed
nothing seems out of order
yet everything seems so out of sync
like a lion out of captivity and into the forest;

time will set right everything,
time will show the mirages
when the dust has settled,
And only time will answer
where this journey will take me;
until then, I am as clueless as you are
about this beautiful thing
called “life”, my sweet little life.

i am afraid when it comes out
it will all be wrong;

as the drama unfolds
putting me dead in the center
of an unexpected storm
i keep moving in circles;

try as much as possible
i am stuck inside this cell
even with the keys in my hand
i am unable to open the lock;

as the walls close in on me
i feel suffocated and fear
i would just be another victim
of her morbid games;

as the world closed in on me,
fear no longer an excuse
i took a deep breath
and out came what i suppressed inside;

as i lay there exhausted and confused
you lift me higher, take my spirit and make it fly,
to the moon up in the sky,
bringing a sparkle to my dreams

Signs of springtime sprout,
crocus peek out beneath snow.
Mother Nature stirs, begins to shout,
warm southerly breezes soon blow,
upon meadows white.

Sounds of rebirth heard,
geese descending northern flight,
migration with red robin, songbird.
Warm the earth oh mighty sun,
renewal be done.

Show beyond all doubt,
let wonders of nature grow.
April showers trickle down rainspout,
colorful arched rainbow.
reflective prism light.

Rebirth occured,
amazing transforming sight,
watch nature's seasonal change spurred.
Her beauty woven and gently spun,
springtime has begun.

Don’t wait for some distant day to come,
it may be too late before you’ve even begun.
Not everyone will agree with all you decide.

Be true to yourself first and foremost.
The only important thing in life is what you do
with the time you spend here on earth.

Don’t be afraid to follow your desires,
they are not silly nor selfish.
Take the time and do what makes you feel alive.

Leave your fears and regrets in the past,
for this is where they belong.
Don’t cloud today with things that can’t be undone.

You have no more control over yesterday or tomorrow,
than you do the raging of your passions.
Do not quiet these dreams nor quench your desires.

For if you do, your journey is ended.
You have only today to begin anew and follow your dreams.
For in the end all we have are our memories.

When the twilight comes to us, let there be,
No excuses, no explanations, no regrets!

as they play down the hall.
The feeling of accomplishment,
no matter how big or small.

The thought of loved ones,
who have come and gone.
Their pictures and the memories,
that will forever live on.

If we could take time out
and focus less, on our financial state.
We would realize it’s the little things,
that really make life so great.
