You stand there with your arms wide,
Welcoming me, to find my way inside,
How could you possibly let me so close?,
Being this close to you is like an overdose,
Your chest is warm, as your heart beats,
But I am cold, from living on the streets,
Your warmth carries over to my heart,
I never seen it, not even from the start,
I lift my cheeks, to form a smile,
I wish it would stay, for a little while,
Your face tries to imitate mine,
But your so beautiful, you look fine,
You hold me close, not to let go,
I had another dose, causing an overflow,
The tears fall, from my face,
You hold me closer, into an embrace,
We lay on the ground, staring at the sky,
Without a sound, not even a cry,
We wish to stay, ignoring the weather,
Then I hear you say, "Lets be together"
