LAHORE: The recording for film "Basanti" by filmmaker Altamash Butt is completed. The film has made a record of getting completed in the shortest period of time. The lead role of the film has been performed by Saima. The music is composed by Tahir Khan while the script had been written by Khakaan Haider. The movie is based on a woman that raises her voice against tyranny. The film portrays the culture of Punjab. The songs have already become famous. The film was expected to release on June 20. Filmmaker Altamash said the film would help end the crisis of cinema industry.

i agree with you Shahrukh Khan. A lot of actors and actresses prove themselves in dramas. like zeba bakhtiyaar, meera, resham, nirma, moamar rana etc.

Well this film looks crap although Hasan Askari is a good director but still its an PENDU film with PENDU producers....!

If KAKN gets sucssesful it will give boost to the production of Urdu movies and will clear this myth(of our jahil-lollywood punjabi filmakers) tht Urdu movies has no future in Lollywood becuz of Bollywood Films having a big buget and being in da same language.
