A new trend is in full swing. Nude lady scenes in the bollywood movies. Soon it is becoming part of a typical formula, five dance songs, four nude scenes and so on.Director Deepak Shivdasani and producer Babloo Pachisia are being extra cautious about their upcoming film “Julie” which narrates the story of a prostitute. In order to avoid his film from any controversy when it releases, the makers of the film have signed a pact with the leading lady of the film, Neha Dhupia, well in advance. The contract states that Neha, who plays the title role of the prostitute Julie in the film, has no objection in shooting for the film and its promos in skimpy outfits. This means that Neha is doing the scenes at her own will and cannot back off at the last moment (like many actresses are doing off lately). The publicity still of the film has Neha posing backless. However Dhupia claims there are just three bold sequences in the film, which have been shot in montages or are a part of a song.
Just a couple of years back director K.Shashilal Nair was pulled to the court by actress Manisha Koirala when he used a body double to spice up his film “Ek Chotisi Love Story” with some nude shots. Also recently, the supposedly hot and bold babe Mallika Sherawat backed off from giving a completely nude shot in a swimming pool in the film “Murder” to which she had initially agreed. She reportedly developed a cold foot at the last moment. After all this the filmmakers of Julie seem to have taken a sensible step to avoid any last minute trouble towards their film.
