mushkil hein agar halaat wahan,, dil bech a'ain jaan de a'ain
dil walo koocha e jana mei kya aise bhi halaat nahi

jiss dhaj se koi maktal mei gaya,, woh shaan salamat rehti hai
yeh jaan to aani jaani hai,, iss jaan ki to koi baat nahi

maidan e wafa darbar nahi,, yaan naam o nasb ki puch kahan
aashiq to kissi ka naam nahi,, kuch ishq kissi ki zaat nahi

gar baazi ishq ki baazi hai jo chaho laga do darr kaisa
gar jeet gae to kya kehna,, haare bhi to baazi maat nahi
