"After Sridevi, if there is someone who can carry off the sari with grace and élan, it is Sushmita," she declares.

But perhaps Khan is not privy to the all her 'Sen-sibilities'. Ask Mukul Abhyankar and he'll tell you, when it comes to doffing the saree on screen no one dares to beat Sushmita either.

First day First show reactions to Main Hoon Na

The only noble outcome of the recent lull phase in Bollywood was that it had put to rest black-marketing of tickets outside cinema-halls. But with Main Hoon Na, black is back with ticket rates going as high as 300 bucks outside Eros cinema in Mumbai. The first week is completely sold out and the case is same in majority of theatres screening the film.

Houseful boards resurface outside cinema-halls almost after four months (the last consistent houseful boards were for Munnabhai MBBS and Kal Ho Naa Ho). The audiences coming out appear contented and the ones going in seem excited.

Needless to say Shahrukh was the center of attraction. Romance, action, emotion, humor, music, dance and even the Indo-Pak theme – the film has it all. “poori masala picture hai” gushes a viewer. “Suniel is good in the negative role but has overdone it a bit”, says another.

And no, the response was not 100% positive. There were some who didn’t approve of the larger than life image of the film. But then as they say it’s not an intelligent film, it’s just an entertaining flick. Popcorn picture as they say!

At the end, we met a 50 plus woman who was like totally bowled over by the film and especially Shahrukh. A self-confessed hardcore Shahrukh fan, she shows us her snaps with Shahrukh and how Shahrukh terms her as his biggest fan. Not to forget, she has booked tickets of the same movie for the next five consecutive days. For Shahrukh’s appeal, age is no bar! Thanks to many other fans like her, the fate of Main Hoon Na looks promising at the box-office.

wow, wat a greay movie, i simply loved it...

SHAHRUKH KHAN damn that actor is awesome, after so long i saw him doin n action movie, that brings the SRK from JOSH back to life...n the comedy he did was SUPERB...

Zayed Khan, he matches to be the best brother for SHAHRUKH in the film, n they should do more films, cuz both looked like brothers too...

Amrita Rao, wooo i'm dryin to meet this girl, she so damn beautiful it aint even believeable...n her actin from the first movie to MASTI n now MAIN HOON NA...is gettin better n better...she's gona be a top actress for sure...

Sushmita Sen...ok now i know i hated her, n i still dont consider her my fav, but finally damn it, she showed it, she can act...but she was showin off too much, (is it to get popular or wat} hey but all her fans, let me tell u, she doesn't have a BIG part in the movie...

Boman Irani, this guy is the funniest comic actor, he made me laugh when even he came on the screen, after MBBS this is n other great comedy role done by BOMAN IRANI hats off to him...

Farah khan, cool director, she has done it guys...

MAIN HOON NA is superb, go watch it n have fun, the action is stylish, the comedy is awesome, the romance is great, the emotions are nicely done...

so all in one MAIN HOON NA is sure a SUPER HIT of the YEAR 2004
