shy was not the right word.....i should say zara is more reserved. even tho she performs in front of an audience...she has yet to come abroad. in that sense, she is more reserved than meera, who would go ANYWHERE to get attention!!

they're showing red carpet moments which include interveiws and messages from the stars. ali zafar is wearing a dhoti kurta, and fuzon was wearing all white. i think shafqat was there with his wife??

model vaneeza ahmed was there and many more. 2 tell you the honest truth....everyone looks more easy and comfortable @ this music award show than the lux style awards. and because of this...they looked much better.

shaan hair was spiked but a little too much . . we saw them pics where hes hair was spiked but this was diffrent . .

I dont have PTV so i wont be able to watch the awards . but i will be watching the millan show and anyother show which comes on ARY. .

i think because they had stylist doing the hair and make up and even designing the cloth for the artist at the lux awards whcih didnt really give them their own choice . and they all tried too hard to be act as if they was at a international awards and put too much effort into it . if tyey act them self and got ready themself they act more clam and be themself . . thats what i think.

I like it when star bring their family alang it makes it more awards like and we get to see their family aswell .

the mela was awsome! around 10,000+ pakistani's were there, and the show was wicked. each singer sang 2-3 songs. reema didnt dance which shows once again how classy she is. i think the reason for her not dancing was: the crowd is usually more rude @ mela's. she probably knew they would yell inappropriate comments so she just came out and said salaam! atleast she came! classy lady.

well Edge the first part of the millan show came on and here some details about it . .

The show starts out with Noor performance . she did a dance to some song which i have no clue who sang .it was a OK performance but it was not really enerjetic like she mostly is . .
The next performance was by the UK based artist called Hunterz . . i dont know is u guys know him or not . . hes got some good songs and kepte the crowed awake .
After that janzeb came on and the good thing about him was he sang live . . he sang hes famouse song kaho ek din and then sang a remix version of nusrat fateh ali khans songs . . after him came on abbas rufi and what can i say about him . . hes voice was awsome . . He kepte the crowed on their feet the whole way throw hes performance . .
After him came one of ur favourates humera arshad . the bad point about her was that she did not sing live but she has very fast songs so that might be the case . . anywayz she started out with main ne bolde and ended with gal sun dholana . she also kepte the crowed on their feet aswell . .

Thats was the end of part one and next week i'll keep u posted with part 2. . . .

Not a bad idea if u think about it . . but i would like to see her performe more then present . . shows oike these's need to be presented but good presenters like omarsharif . . moin aktar or even raja kasif .

natasha hussain is a decent host. she hosted the eid shows in lahore which were shown on ptv prime.

farooq hasan is also a good host. he is touring with abrar/reema/fakhir in the u.s./canada right now.

Have u noticed theirs a lot of ppl from outside pakistan coming into the film insutrie and all that . . theirs a lot of ppl in london promoting shows and stage plays here also . .every other months theirs a pakistani stage drama here.

reema's in the u.s. i think. she is still touring with abrar, rabi pirzada, tariq tafu and fakhir. i don't think she is still in toronto. if she is, i have not heard anything from any pakistani radio or tv show.

as for people doing shows....over here there are 2-3 concerts coming up: 1)strings, and ep 2)shabnam majeed, namjam sheraz, 3) hamid ali khan (uncle of fuzon's shafqat)).

i think its good to do shows everywhere...that way u promote our culture, and our growing music industry.

very truw and its also good to bring singers that sing in diffren ways like strings is a rock band and hamid ali khan is a classical singer etc . .

They should try and get investors from diffrent comapny and even the American music labels to sign them . that way their would get even more promotion internayonally.

american labels already sign pakistani artists!

virgin, and sony are examples of american labels which have picked up pakistani talent!

and humaira arshad was signed last year by a british record company which will direct her music videos and release her upcoming album(s)!! so slowly our music is reaching a global audience!!
