here r 2...but there r many many more places in quran u will find sood being forbidden:
[3:130] O you who believe, you shall not take usury, compounded over and over. Observe GOD, that you may succeed.
[4:161] And for practicing usury, which was forbidden, and for consuming the people's money illicitly. We have prepared for the disbelievers among them painful retribution.

If we explore the Qur’an we will come across at least four places where Allah has mentioned interest.
The first one is in Surah Al-baqarah verse no.275
"Those who devour usury will not stand except as stands one whom the Satan by his touch has driven to madness. That is because they say, "trade is like usury", but Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden usury",
In the next verse verse 276 in the same place he says,
"Allah will deprive usury of all blessing, and will give increase for deeds of charity, for he does not love any ungrateful sinner."
Two verses later in verse 278 he says,
"Oh you who believe! Fear Allah and give up what remains of your demand for usury if you are indeed believers."
In verse 279 he says,
"If you do not, take notice of war from Allah and his Messenger sallallahu alaihe wasallm but if you repent you shall have your capital sum. Deal not unjustly and you shall not be dealt with unjustly."
In the second place in Surah Aal-Imran, verse no.130 Allah says,
"Oh you who believe! Devour not usury doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah that you may prosper."
In the third place in Surah Al-Nisaa’ Allah states in verse 161,
"That they took usury though they were forbidden and they devoured peoples wealth wrongfully; we have prepared for those amongst them who reject faith a grievous chastisement."
In the fourth place, Surah Al-Room, verse no.39 Allah mentions
"That which you give in usury for increase through the property of people will have no increase with Allah: but that which you give for charity seeking the countenance of Allah, it is these who will get a recompense multiplied."

Ahaadith Concerning Interest:
Hazrat Jabir radiyallahu anhu has reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm cursed the devourer of usury, its payer, its scribe and its two witnesses. He also said that they were equal (in sin). (Muslim)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm said : Usury has got seventy divisions. The easiest division of them is a man marrying his mother. (Ibn Majah)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu reported that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihe wasallm said: I came across some people in the night in which I was taken to the heavens. Their stomachs were like houses wherein there were serpents, which could be seen from the front of their stomachs. I asked: O Gabriel! Who are these people? He replied these are those who devoured usury. (Ahmed, Ibn Majah)

Hazrat Al-Khudri radiyallahu anhu reported that the Prophet sallallahu alaihe wasallm said: Gold in exchange for gold, silver in exchange for silver, wheat in exchange for wheat, barley in exchange for barley, dates in exchange for dates, salt in exchange for salt is in the same category and (should be exchanged) hand to hand, so who ever adds or demands increase he has practised usury. The giver and taker are the same.
Out of the four imams, Imam Abu Hanifah has ruled that if the measurement system (volumetric or in compounds) is the same and the two items are in the same category, then they should be sold in the same amount and direct not in credit otherwise interest will be found.

Have a close look at the haadith:

The giver and taker are the same.
"who ever adds or demands increase", not "who ever adds or demands excessive increase" has practised usury. increase in the value whether small or larger comes under usury. Just like taking or giving bribe, small or large.

it s payer ?????? sometimes ppl r in such need that they have to borrow money from anyone,, aur phir zahir hai unhein majboori se pay bhi karna hota hai with it s interest,, aur phir we r living in a system k thori si bari investement k liye we pay interests,, there isnt any other choice

money inflation... lets have an example. if the medium of exchange is Gold instead of money, then what comes to mind is clear, you borrow and repay the gold of the same amount priced at that time (time when borrowed and payed back), and it seems logical too, so in case of money the returned amount should be valued at the time of return. if you recall 25 years back the in 50 rupess we could buy 10 grams of gold, if someone borrowed that amount and today he returns it then it will be of no value for the lender, now he cannot buy even a half gram of gold from it. that is my personal opinion, maybe wrong, Allah knows better. i will post more about it if i find something better.

INTEREST and USURY, it depends how you define interest. interest on the medium of exchange is usury for example you lend money and want more money in return. while the interest on goods (usables, edibles etc) is not usury where you provide goods and requre some medium of exchage in return like money, gold etc. that is called trade.

Payer is in sin - where the borrower is forced to pay usury, and there is no other way too, then hopefully he will not be accused of this sin, but he should seek Allah's forgiveness.
But what about the banks today? We give them money and take interest on it, and they give us interest willingly. They do not make any effort to abstain from it bcoz they know they will be able to gain more than that payed back to their costomer. In this way they make their customers happy while saving a lot for themselves too. They are commiting this sin willingly and sinner while being payer too.

yar stk exchange mei,, hmmmm in simple words,, jaise u buy a companies shares,,, matlab k u financialy help a company and later u ve a share in its profit
shares ki buy/sell value company ki performance se calculate ki jati hai,,,
it s quite complicated,, all depends how u explain it,, coz if u hold a companies shares and u work for the same company to alag baat hai na,,, par agar mere paas sirf shares hein to meri basic amount wohi rahe gi and i ll earn some profit on it... how wd u call it

areyy han,,, wot abt FOREIGNE EXCHANGE "business of foreign currencies on the basis of fluctuations between different currencies" Gains are realised on the basis of ups and downs of currency values. These ups and downs are puerly based on inflation, economic strenghth, GDP and Balance of payments.

foriegn exchange wali baat to clear hai, wo tu government say money cheennay wali baat hai shaid sood tu nahi hai par hai illegal.
laikin shares wali baat i dont think kay yeh sood hai, bcos money main sirf increase ho tu phir sood hota hai yani nuksan ka sawal hi paida nahi hota money owner ko. laikin share holder company kay nuksaan main bhi barabar ka shareek hota hai. jabkay is nuksan main company kay mulazimeen shareek nahi hotay. yani nuksan sirf share holder ka hota hai koi doora affect nahi hota.
