I know many of these composites had UV issues when they first came out. A few US companies started wrapping the board with a more durable coating about an 1/16" thick with an embossed grain. It improves longevity and protects against fading, but it also can be slick especially when wet. Has the product coming from other Asian suppliers improved over the years to address these issues? I was thinking of actually coating my wood deck with the same coatings that we use for
garage floor coatings to get a lifetime surface on the wood.
Epoxy floor coatings would not be good for outdoor use, but polyurea would.
