mr. death - sukhber, or dehler could have their own show in pk 2 a packed house no doubt...but u have an abrar-ul-haq show (or ANY OTHER pakistani musician's show) down the street, i GUARANTEE YOU they'll loose 99.9% of their audience. lol they'll go un-noticed!
u know india's own LATA MANGESHKAR (or ASHA BHONSLE, i'm not 100% sure which one...u'll probably know better) had her 75th b-day recently, and she said that she is what she is today thanks 2 pakistan's own MALKA-E-TARANAM, THE LATE GREAT MADAME NOOR JEHAN?!?!!! she even requested that the pakistani government let her enter pakistan so that she could pay tribute 2 one of her BIGGEST mentors (noor jehan) and sing at a shrine dedicated to her. arguably, india's BEST KNOWN FEMALE singer EVER, says she owes much of her success 2 noor jehan, who inspired her like nobody else. goes 2 show that musically, pakistan rocks! we'll listen 2 everyone (skhber/dehler included), but if u compare them 2 our home-grown musicians....we won't know most of 'em even exist! its tru, its tru yaar!

i didn't know she had it in her. lol
and i shouldn't say this (cause of the pose/context) but saima looks like she's been burning up them calories like mad. nirma looks heavier than her. lol none of this matters, but i'm just makin an observation....

exactly....fame, misused!
ah well...dehler screwed up, now he's gotta pay 4 it! i would say he could move 2 pk and start up a new career there, but he'd have WAY 2 MUCH competition (3 words: ABRAR-UL-HAQ!) and he'd most likely go un-noticed! lol.

i feel bad 4 u (4 havin' 2 slave over a stove the night b4 and probably on eid day itself), but it seems like the pay-off was worth it (it was so good, all them peeps took the grub home)! must've been kick-ass. next time send some over would u, slik chik. lol.
....if u're hungry after talkin 'bout all that food...go whip something up hommes, don't whine abt it. lol.

WICKED!!! thank u umair sahib! i hope certain ignorant people read your review and other people's reviews as well. i have yet 2 hear a compaint abt saima, or even newcomer shamyl 4 that matter, as far as LP goes. but saima specifically, takes WAY 2 much heat on this discussion board, so its nice 2 hear good things abt her from a neutral party!

wicked! LP's doing great, and now commando is picking up steam as well (in pk).
great 4 sayed noor, great 4 lollywood, and especially great 4 shaan and saima who always seem 2 take unnecessary heat 4 the industry's problems. this movie's (early) success (based on what charizmatic has said) shows the two still have what it takes, in my opinion....

i dont want 2 jinx it, but the movie is 4 days in, and i have heard only good things abt it (save ricky's comments)! on the website 4 the film, countless people have said they have been turned away at the ticket booth, due to ALL SHOWS being SOLD OUT!
based on that, based on hoppo's review, based on the clips i have seen, and based on what the LP team (cast and crew) has said (that its a change from the usual pakistani movies) i say congrats 2 zain 4 what sounds like great music, shamyl khan on what seems like a successful debut, saima on adding what looks like yet ANOTHER hit 2 her list, and ofcourse.....sayed noor whose done it again! well done makers of LP...so far!
