Afridi Hasnat I do share your sentiments and I hope both films are hit but the real verdict on the films will come after the Eid holidays which is going to be early next week.

That probably was yesterdays paper. I have just been to the website and it has changed to Wednesday's edition. I will see if they have a archive section.

The links to the other newspapers are as follows:
http://www.khabrain.com/htmls/showbiz.htm
www.nawaiwaqt.com.pk then click on showbiz.
Even I can't read the above. In today's entertainment section of the Daily Jinnah there was nothing much about Lollywood.
In the Khabrain it was reported that senior actor Habib wants to direct a film on Terrorism and he mentioned this to the Chief Minister of Punjab that one of the best ways to curb terrorism is to use the media. The script has already been completed. Habib is currently looking for funds to start his film and is hoping that the goverment might help him.
In the nawaiwaqt it is reported that Shaan is going to start directing his Punjabi film Zille Shah after Eid. Currently a huge expensive set is being designed by Tanvir Fatima.
Shaan has said its very hard to make good quality films because all the producers just want to make formula films. He further said he has a number of subjects on hand but no is willing to invest in them.
Shaan said that his film Zille Shah will be a quality film.

The reason for that is that of all the upcoming big Urdu films none of the producers have released the music so far. Things should in the next couple of months with more releases.

Well Afridi hasnat you are not totally right. One song of KPNK needs filming before the camera closes on the film and for TSPH the camera will close on 9th November.
Agree both films do look good and hopefully will do well at the box offiice.

What a pathetic film. The film is years old. Zee have made a bad mistake. They mostly show good quality films with great prints. I was hoping that they would show some of the recent big releases.

The pictures that you have re-produced in your second thread are from this year but the majority of the above ones are from last year unless you need to your eyes tested. Anyhow why are you putting up last year pics.

It is the month of Ramadan in October unless its going to be a Eid-ul-fitr release. Agree with yoyo its more likely to be released in December or early next year.

I have written about this on another thread. The censor board did not pass the film because of too much vulgarity. The director Rashid Dogher deserved this because he has been making a lot of cheap third rate vulgar films and getting away with it.
For once the censorboard have done something right and one hopes that they carry on with this.
Taify the reason why the name was probably changed because in mid 1970s another film with the same name was released which was famous for its valgarity went on to became a diamond jubilee hit film.

Yoyo's info is spot on. This is also what I have read.
I feel really sorry for Saqib Malik because for over 6 months he has been waiting to start the film but no producer. He is not the only one because they are other talented people who want to get in to films but finance is the biggest hinderence.
