are u tryin to kid urself . ..lol keep dreaming . ur tv is a direct censored and unglamorous version of indian channels . its boring . no one wants to see it . pak prolly produced a couple of plays that are worth watching and that also decades ago . now the indian television overwhelms pretty much all of south asia and africa . even the mainstream US channels show indian movies . u have so many restrictions on ur artists and urs is an islamic country so there s no chance for showboz to compete against other free countries. if u want real competition then allow indian channels and indian movies and then see how ur sorry showboz industry vanishes. in india hollywood movies release the same day as they are in the USA . all major studios are here investing in bollywood projects. we have MTv and channel V . our fashion industry is at par with any in the world with regular features on FTv and india fashion week attracts fashion afficianados from all over the world . we have more Ms worlds and universes than any other country in the world . there s a culture of entertainment in our society where there are theatres galore , karaoke bars . discos and nite clubs everywhere . millions go watching movies on a daily basis . we have unrestricted flow of channels and information from almost any part of the world . hell even ur artists defect to india for greener pastures cause they do not get the money or respect an artists deserves . look at our artists , they get hollywood offers, have their statues at madam tussads and go on to become chief ministers and parlimentarians and are stinking rich while a grrt artist like mehdi has to struggle to raise money for his treatment in pakland. i have seen how u still treat ur artists as marasis and kanjars . there is no respect for these enormously gifted people . showbiz like i said is the part of the fabric of society we live in . if its not free it wont thrive. think about it .

abhishek bachan is nice. slowly and steadily he s climbing the popularity charts with a series of hits under his belt now. its not easy to come out of hindi cinema s legends shadow and make a name for oneself and he s done it . not only that he s a very well educated and a smart and intelligent dude. he ll make it in whatever field he decided to . be it acting ..

kuknoor is a very talented director and this was a stupendous effort. this movie proly wont do very well at box office but it ll win a lot of national awards and also will be very popular once the official dvd comes out.

nice movie....was a laff riot . its nice to see anil kapoor in a comic role. he s just so talented. and salman .....the theatre was packed with college cuties and everyone was screaming his name. fardeen looked kool too...and the babes were mega hot. very paisa vasool movie.

why cant u play em in your theatres and enjoy movies how they are supposed to. i dont think there s a culture of cinema in pakistan . i dont think there s nutthin wrong with showing indian movies in theatres in pakland cause if nutthin it ll be quality entertainment for your families . it ll bring cheer to the society. and gradually a cinema culture will develop. in india there are couple of thousand theatres across every state and most of em are state of art ..be it multiplexes or single screen. millions go watching movies on a given day. the figures are astounding. it provides tempting entertainment to its citizens and to other parts of the world. this would be in long run beneficial for ur artists who would have an international exposure and everyone whos good will be workin cause there s just an insane amount of movies bein made. lollywood would develop. i dont even understand how a nice a grade movie with all the songs and music and huge stars ..grrrt locales and greatr sound be enjoyed on a pirated disc.

paheli is a brilliant movie .....taking a puppet folk story and turning it into film . amol palekar is a total artist and shahrukh khan has proved once again that the superstars are just not huge mega stars but absolutely fantastic actors.

i saw it today in new delhi. the movie is pretty ok but not a classic. the movie is just too hyped up and that s why even with so many prints released the advance booking for the first week is full. there was hardly any multiplex or single screen theatre in new delhi which dint feel the mad rush for a aamir khan movie,. it was slow in parts and the songs werent grrt. the background score was grrrrt and that is one of the trippy points about the movie. the movie is good in parts but desnt work as a whole. the best actor of the movie is toby smith who played the villan in die anither day. he s simply outstanding and shares a screen smooch with amisha patel . khan excels but is let down by a weak screenplay. cinematography is splendid and canvass huge. its moneys worth only for its lavish canvass and the period feel . not o mention spellbinding performances and exquisite cinematography. the screenplay is the weak link.

dude i think pretty much all big cities in the usa have theatres where they play indian movies.

buyin cd' s should be out of fluid money ..the kinda money that u spend on perishable disposable items. i dont buy em to collect em cause there s a certain time to which u can hear that song ..after that u toss it ..and buy a new one ..but buy em and keep buyin em . cheap entertainment is not as gratifying . the quaity of course is a factor. entertainment is supposed to be received in a certain fashion...otherwise its never complete entertainment. if u dont do it with indian cd's u will stretch it to pak cd's some day and encourage a menace . go to the theater dude or get original dvd...and buy tht friggin cd.

boss we grew up amongst the amitabh hysteria .....there are so many guys on the scene but then there are some who are steller even amongst those stars. dilip kumar..rajesh khanna .....amitabh bachchan...srk.. and if u look at their histories they are highly educated ..very intelligent people who are good at anything they do. amitabh is amongst the top 10 richest of india. the respect he commands is incredible. very well connected politically . best friend to india s ex pm .so bein revered the world over. he s just so perfec t for the screen. his height , his baritone. his screen presence. now he s older but he is still loaded with offers and make more movies than any other actor in bollywood. he s unstoppable at 62

go with ur girlfriend or ur buddies then ....well srk cant possibly come in all k0ol movies. everyone is kool . all those guys who are there deserve to be there. its just a consistant deluge of entertainment since an enormous # of movies get made....and i m not even adding regional cinema.

its a big screen movie dude ....dont compromise ...smoke a joint and sit cozy in the multiplex for a super slick action movie ...the songs are awesome and it has stars galore .....the background score is just so trippy. lol

oh this movie is gonna rock ....it s been the bst year for amitabh with pretty much all his movies hittin the bulls eye at the box office ..and the sritical acclaim he got for black and viruddh...he ll sweep every award for 2005
