Yoyo I have no problem you comparing MEDLKAG to the Indian rubbish you watch but still saying MEDLKAG is worse then a D grade Bollywood movie. Dude, you need your eyes testing.
If you can't understand what I have written then tell me who has a pea sized brain.
well its not worse but its like a D grade bollywood film, there have been many films like this made in india before, there all crap and this film is nothing less then them, if you think this film is great its good for you, its your opinion but mine is that its sh*t, no need act childish and attack me for that, just grow up dude.

looks like geo just brought ms now, cos promos were coming on with another name. it will also have to clash with godfather. this clash will be good for the industry.

Yoyo for god sake get a life and stop comparing MEDLKAG to some D grade Bollywood movie. Are you implying Budda Mar Gaya.
Firstly tell me have you seen the movie? The answer is probably no then how can you ridicule the film. You initally had the same words for KTSK and did not watch it when it got released here and waited a year to watch the film on Geo and the horrible print they showed.
Having finally watched MEDLKA a few days ago I was not surprised. The film without doubt was not the best ever made in Pakistan. The film was just plain average with a typical story and direction was not up to scratch. The only saving grace was the music.
We all Knew the merits and de-merits of the film before.
What I was more interested is with the film's performance at the Box office. The film unfortunately is a total wash at box office. I am not surprised at all.
The film's promotion was zilch. Alot of people did not even Knew that the film was on. The film did not even get a mention in the Cineworld website that it is being screened. A Pakistani film gets released here in the UK once in a blue moon which is about two years and then promtion is non existent. How can you expect people to came and see the film.
What is needed is proper promotion of the film.
One thing which does not help Pakistani film's performace at the box office in the UK is the non-availablity of the product.
Currently no Pakistani films are released on DVD here in the UK. Things were better about 5 to 6 years ago when all Pakistani films used to get released here in the UK. One has to currently rely on the pathetic Pakistani prints and we now at what pace films are released on DVD in Pakistan. Alot of video shops don't stock these Pakistani print DVDs.
When a product is not available how do expect people to watch Pakistani films.
We then have our TV channels. Currently they are 4 big Pakistani channels in the UK. Geo, Ary, Prime TV and PTV Global. Geo, Ary and PTV Global never show Pakistani films or film based programmes. Prime TV does show 2 films a week but they are all old films. One has no clue whats happening on the Pakistani film scene. So where do you go from here.
Its high time if film makers really want to successfully release there films in the UK then firstly release all Pakistani films on DVD in the UK. To release all audio tracks of films in the UK also.
Secondly film makers should realise one cannot release one film after 2 years and expect people running to watch. Our film makers need to release more films here on a regular basis. This will get people interested.
Still can't understand why films like Majajan and KKL have not been released in the UK especially KKL which defies logic. Considering that GEO promoted the film really well. Any how everyone has seen the pirated DVD of the film which is stupied.
Its time that filmmakers do things properly if not then things will be the same for the next time an Pakistani film gets released here. They are numerous people out here who want to watch Pakistani movies.
the whole film was made like an indian film and in india, so why not compare,
i always knew you were stupid but how have you guessed if i havent seen the movie, it shows your the one who needs a life not me, are you some kind of life predictor. i saw the film way back in pakistan when it released in gulistan,

well its out of all cinemas tommorow,
the main reason why all pak films do bad is cos of there bad business stratergies. the stratergy used for MEDLKA was as old as the hills.
they need to promote there films more aggresivly, many people dnt even still know that a film called main ek din lout ke aou ga exists.
reema probably had the best promotion but even that was average and then she put her film in only selected cinemas, no one is gona drive more then 20 minutes to go to a cinema, this is UK not pakistan.

the box office reports are availble on indiafm.com or you can type uk box office in google and go direct to the uk film council site which has weekend collections.
ktsk was a big time flop, medlka has done even worser then ktsk, its collections are very simular to larki punjaban which is a complete shock, and with todays much higher ticket rates and more cinemas medlka has done worse then LP. its probably the biggest flop from any pakistani film released in uk.
it took a useless £8.560 for a film to be successful it needs over £200,000

well promotion for this film is probabliy the worst of any paki film, even larki punjaban was better, alot better. i can allready feel this film bombing at the bo. if ktsk got around £10,000 in its opening weekend this will probably get £5,000.

well pakistan film industry is developing, and we have to take use of india, you must use the colour labs cos no one wants crappy outdated prints anymore. you must relise that all profits from the film will be going to the pakistani producer and not the indians

promo is so far very poor, ive only seen adverts on ptv prime what no one watches. colour and everything is good better then ktsk promos, but there was one song on zee tv and colours were bad onit.
nearly all pakis in uk watch indian channels and if they want people to go watch there films they should be promoting there films on channels like b4u music, sony and zee, hope kkl is promted on these channels and geo doesnt keep there 1 channel promotion policy,
