according to internet voting ZARA SHEIKH is the most favorite film actress in pakistan...even those people who dont like or watch pakistani movie they like her. because Zara Sheikh is so beautiful and intelligent and belongs to noble family.
According to an international research report,Reema is the most popular actress in Pakistan n that was the exact reason she was selected to do the Pepsi comerial from asia as people declared her the most graceful n beautiful actress. how do u know Zara belongs to a noble family?some people r just too high on themselves n loves to makes statments without any solid proof Reema is more intelegent, more beautiful than Zara n mostly people believe this.Zara maybe a popular model but her filmi popularity is not above Reema's. Reema has proved herself as a decent actress in her recent projects. Its a fact she wasnt quiet good when she started as far as her acting is concerned but now looking back to her few movies in which she really got a chance to actually show some acting talent, she did prove herself.People who think her acting is bad,bad n bad, needs to watch her movies Nikkah,Jan TeraY Nam,KTSK,Fire,Ik Pagal Se larke.
you are a die hard reema fan, i understand but to diegest the facts.
zara shiek has proven more succesfull then reema in just a short span of 5 years, zara is by far the most popular actress in pakistan.
she is no.1 on every directors list, thats why you see her in nearly every big budget film. while reema has just 1 big budget film and that was her own home production, LOL, reema has never been part of a big budget film.
i agree Honeynrrn, because there was a poll conducted in pakistan for the best actress and zara won it. she is from a nobel and educated background, whereas reema is from a uneducated prostitute background.
i know you will never belive it cos you just love reema but its a FACT.

if shaan didnt have punjabi style it would be fake and a direct insult to bulleh shah.
it is not right to compare yash chopra to syed noor, syed noor is in a dead industry, all he makes is films that the people would watch he could have also made films like veer zaara but the film audience in pakistan is restricted to truck drivers and they are only interested in vulgar and action stuff. if syed noor was an indian, he would be one of there best directors with many blcokbusters behind him.

it would be good as competition would be created, the tv and music industry got that competition from india is well and fighted it off and emerged victorious so i am confident the film industry can do the same.
competition from india has a big hand in booming our music and tv industrys.
but i would not like no action films allowed as all them have muslims as villains and hindus as heros.

humayun saeed is using javed sadiqui and reema is using javeid yousuf.
both of them have lied about them being writer of dilwale dulhanya le jayege just to hype up there film, ddlj was written by honey irani. i dnt know why they have such obsestion with ddlj, the story was as worst as it could get.
you are wrong standard, indian writers are rubbish, 90% of all the films have the same storylines and most of them are copied, how can you call there writters good.

Indian writer on Reema's flick
Reema has signed Javed Yousaf, Indian writer, for her upcoming movie. Reema was working with Khalil-ur- Rehman but she got disappointed with the script. It is to be noted that Mr Javed was the writer of famous Indian flick Dilwale Dulhaniya Lay Jain Gay. Reema's new movie will be based on today's youth.

I think every director must learn with new academy NAPA in karachi or SYED NOOR academy in Lahore..it's very important.
This is not enough they should atleast have a bachelors degree with a major in Film/Video. I guess thats the most important thing that they need Proper education in that area.
most pf them have bachelor degrees from usa and uk film making schools.

but I am afraid...do they know about film screenplay, duration, cinima atmosphere..well it's very important when they are making the film. why our new people from tv are making a drama in film..although every everybody is watching indian movie in their houses..but they are playing a drama..and saying ..this is a family movie..stupidness! let's what happens these people.
agreed t v ppl r talented but they must know the technique of film
well most of them know the techniques as the top ones have been to film making schools in the us/uk.
what they need is experience and they will only get that by assisting top directors or by attempting a few films themselves, unfortunatly pakistan doesnt have many good experienced directors who you can assist so they have to go straight into making a film.
another option would be for them to go to india and assit some directors there which could help is well.

Ali Zafar keeps bouncing back into the news, over and over again and whenever things are quiet, he re–enters with a big bang. While he keeps his fans eagerly awaiting for his new album (an unplugged version of a new song from it is out and playing on local music channels), Ali has signed up for director Saqib Malik's upcoming movie, Ajnabi Shehr Mein. The pop star is going to act opposite model Tooba Siddiqui. Ali was also Shoaib Mansoor's choice for his debut movie, Khuda Key Liye but he pulled out from it as he was unable to give time to this venture. Let's hope this venture goes through smoothly. Ad and music video directors are taking up the challenge of reviving cinema in Pakistan. Directors like Shoaib Mansoor, Saqib Malik, Jami and Asim Raza are all ready and they will soon start shooting. Lollywood is dying a slow death and as the formula movies are not attracting audience anymore, it would be exciting to see these new directors contributing to a possible revival. Now what could be better than cashing in on the music stars while the music industry is doing so well!
