Har ik namaz mein hum mangte hain khair teri
Khumar-e-sidq se labraiz mud-dua ki tarah

Teri qasam tughe shamil khayal kerte hain
Har ibtida mein magar harf-e-intiha ki tarah

Teri jhuki hoi palken huroof loh-o-qalam
Lage bahar ka mausam teri kaba ki tarah

Dil-o-zaban pe damakta hai tere naam ka naksh
Hawae subah mein bheege hoi dua ki tarah

Tere wajood ke kail bhi hum hain sail bhi!
Shab se mein sitaron ke humnawa ki tarah

Na pooch kitne zamanon se tughe ko dhoondte hain
Kabhi chirag ki soorat kabhi hawa ki tarah!
Aqidaton ke ufaq per kabhi zahoor to ker!
Wooh ik pal ko sahi,khuwab khush-numa ki tarah

magar na khuaff hai ankhen bhatak na jaen kahin
Nusairiyon ki bhatki hoi sada ki tarah!

Khata maaf,naqabain rukh hasin se utha
Khuda ke waste hum se na chup”Khuda”ki tarah!
