What we see What we dream Whatever it is we do Isn’t always what it seems. There are times we reconsider All the decisions we have made But as time goes by All the bad ones will fade. We were brought to this world To live our lives to the fullest From the bad, the good And even the coolest. Then death is brought upon us Without a shadow of a doubt Of those who mean so much And say we can’t live without. Going through life with ease Can be really hard But somehow we’ll all get through it Without any disreguard.

5 Tips on Use of Medications
1)Use of medications increases with age: 80% of older Americans who live independently receive 20 or more prescriptions per year Residents of nursing homes receive an average of 8-10 drugs per day
2)It is important to take medications as prescribed. Reasons for not following directions include: -Too many drugs -Error due to visual or mental impairment -Sharing drugs -Changing doctors -Use of over-the-counter drugs -Sparing expense -Drug side effects -Symptoms not improving
3)See your doctor regularly to check on medications and their effect (bring your medications with you for an office visit or to an emergency room): Drug effect changes with aging There is decreased absorption of drugs through the intestinal tract Decreased kidney function slows drug elimination Metabolism of drugs changes with age
4)The effect medications have on your body will change with aging. For example: Drug action may last longer Drugs may produce toxicity at a lower dose in mature adults than in younger adults
5)Remember that all changes you experience are not necessarily due to aging. For example, decrease in salivary flow is: Due to disease or medication not due to aging

I thought of you and how you love this beauty, And walking up the long beach all alone I heard the waves breaking in measured thunder As you and I once heard their monotone.
Around me were the echoing dunes, beyond me The cold and sparkling silver of the sea -- We two will pass through death and ages lengthen Before you hear that sound again with me.

...You Forget Me
I want you to know one thing.
You know how this is: if I look at the crystal moon, at the red branch of the slow autumn at my window, if I touch near the fire the impalpable ash or the wrinkled body of the log, everything carries me to you, as if everything that exists, aromas, light, metals, were little boats that sail toward those isles of yours that wait for me.
Well, now, if little by little you stop loving me I shall stop loving you little by little.
If suddenly you forget me do not look for me, for I shall already have forgotten you.
If you think it long and mad, the wind of banners that passes through my life, and you decide to leave me at the shore of the heart where I have roots, remember that on that day, at that hour, I shall lift my arms and my roots will set off to seek another land.
But if each day, each hour, you feel that you are destined for me with implacable sweetness, if each day a flower climbs up to your lips to seek me, ah my love, ah my own, in me all that fire is repeated, in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten, my love feeds on your love, beloved, and as long as you live it will be in your arms without leaving mine.

If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breath a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

There is a pain within this heart, My pain within my sadness through my eyes, My eyes are like a burden that you can see right through me, No pain I ever felt was that one single broken heart that had been left behind and never got a chance to be healed, There is way out of this pain but somehow I can’t see it, See the light, the hope, the happiness I once wanted to feel, Now I ever feel is this sadness, this pain, this heartache, A pain within these wall I can hear it say, There is no way out, No way to wash away the pain, The pain I feel.

there he sits, sits and waits holding still for a twist of fate in a crowded room far away will he see me this lonely day
he turns his head, and i can’t believe his eyes are looking right past me this invisible girl with an invisible heart slowly shattering into a thousand parts
but the music playing from his eyes encompasses me, goes deep inside raptures my soul in a symphony until i can no longer see me
should i do it, part my lips open my heart, let the words slip out of the mouth that longs to taste savor his love, not one moment waste
it isn’t right, it isn’t fair why i should feel, why i should care about this man who does not see about this man, lord, set me free
and so like he i’ll sit and wait holding still for a twist of fate patience till i find my way patience till my dying day

Patience is a virtue that everybody knows. Its opposite is one of mankind’s greatest foes. Without patience in our lives we are destitute Because without patience man is just a brute.
But liberally sprinkle life with patience with everyone you know, And your relationships and friendships I can attest will grow. When you use it with your children their love is you reward. You’ll see a change in family life because there’ll be less discord.
So when your ire is raised be careful how you speak. Say things with great patience and you’ll get the reaction that you seek.
