If the world was based on love
It would be perfect you see
But because we hold anger and resentments
We have flaws in our society
      

A tear rolls down my cheek
As my fears let life pass me by
At times I feel so meek
It is too often that I cry
      

I was looking for love in all the wrong places
It's beauty I could not see
I looked for love in the smallest of spaces
When I gave up and let love find me
       

It's not a toy that can be picked up and played with
For it only messes with your heart
And when the games over
It leaves you torn apart

      
So some learn to hate it
When push comes to shove
But when it comes around accept it
For it's but a rare thing...
That thing called LOVE!
