Poetry cannot express,
How much I feel for you,
But once again I'm using it,
To convey my love for you.
Simple words cannot come close,
To the love between you and me,
But take a look into my eyes,
And surely there you'll see.
This heart is filled with love for you,
And in between each beat,
It yearns and aches, and just can't wait,
To sweep you off your feet.
I think about you always,
Just wishing you were here,
Because only when I hold you,
Do my feelings seem quite clear.
I stand a little taller,
My happiness shines through,
This world's a whole lot brighter,
And it's all because of you.
