The Road to Nowhere


To travel the road to nowhere.
The soul's dark amazon.
Eternal peace is anywhere,

locked in fraudulent rivalry


Yet, our fibers hear
still sing an ancient song
And our molecules long to
dance the old dance


Leaving us in
a state of perplexed multiplicity
Burning, yearning
For a place of balance,
