The Road to Nowhere

To travel the road to nowhere.
The soul's dark amazon.
Eternal peace is anywhere,
the mind might set upon.

To travel the road to nowhere.
To know you're really gone.
And when you finally get there,
to find your god is Ron.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
There's something in the dark.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
that leaves a lasting mark.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
Old secrets gather dust.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
that reeks decay and must.

To travel the road to nowhere.
Reading signposts from beyond.
As self-deceit completes defeat,
a cold ghost light is shone,
on Ron. On Ron.

He learned to sham at his father's knee.
He knew the power of story.
He lived by lies and fantasies,
and dreamed of fame and glory.

So travel the road but beware,
for he drew an arcane map.
His weak and dismal followers,
could see no fatal trap.

But in his inner circle,
his worth would soon reveal.
To those that rail and cavil,
he'd crush beneath his heel.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
The sweetest scent of musk.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
as warm and moist as lust.

To travel the road to nowhere.
It's not the smoothest ride.
To have all faith you must defer,
to a self-referring guide.

To travel the road to nowhere.
To avoid the rush and throng.
Unravel in the space of somewhere,
and sing a specious song.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
It's got an evil breath.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
that toys with fear and death.

To travel the road to nowhere.
And wield your magic wand.
A shuffling prisoner of despair,
when fragile hopes abscond.

To travel the road to nowhere.
A funeral dress you don.
All truth is moulded out there,
like a Sci-Fi writer's con.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
You hear it scratch and whine.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
both bedevilled and divine.

To travel the road to nowhere.
To follow a different sun.
To travel the road with due care,
not to end as you begun.

To travel the road to nowhere,
to life's grim denouement.
Be sighted by the cross hairs,
released from earthly bond.

To travel the road to nowhere.
Your face is drawn and wan.
Your self-belief masks hidden grief,
while the thief of time moves on.

Every now, every then,
Everywhere and everywhen;
I think about you always;
How you are and how you've been...

Every here, every there
Every promise, every prayer;
No matter where we both shall go,
You're with me everywhere.

I keep you in my heart
and my prayers at all times!

May you always stay this happy
And never feel any pain nor sorrow
May your eyes always stay clear
And never shed a drop of tear
May you reach every happiness of live
May you live happily ever after even if
Its not with me………

There was a tiny door with powers to behold,
only to be opened with a knob of solid gold.
Given to me years ago, when I was but three,
this door has been an heirloom, in our family.

So magical, this door can bring us many things,
tap four times to see wonders that it brings.
Close your eyes and picture, a place far away,
somewhere in the heavens, or across the bay.

Door will take you, anywhere you wish to be,
anytime, anyplace, wonders for you to see.
Only when moon is full, shining in the night,
tiny door allows you, to travel to each sight.

Use it wisely, to see past, or what might be,
visit ancient cities, explore deep blue sea.
Jupiter awaits, or visit China's great wall,
whispers on wind, hear destinations call.

You must always return, before break of day,
for when sun rises high, the powers go away.
To be lost forever, in a place far from home,
become dust in heaven, in shadows you roam.

Girl talk can begin,
at a young age.
Sharing our secrets,
of all the new rage.

Innocently chatter,
boys and wishes.
Of barbie dolls,
first time kisses.

Whispering softly
into a friend's ear
About a new boy.
so no one can hear.

Over by the big tree,
the one with red hair.
Now don't let him see,
please try not to stare.

He likes me and asked,
a very special thing.
Should I let him or not,
push me on the swing?

There is a soft hush around the corner,
a colorful pallet will soon appear,
September, about to burst into song,
brilliance on autumn leaves domineer.

Rustle lightly on the sycamore branches,
upon mighty tall oak and maples trees.
Overhead, see geese and gander flying,
riding wind currents on southern breeze.

First killing frost soon begins to gather,
settles on foliage and window panes.
The harvest moon will soon be waning,
farmers gather and reap summer's grains.

September plays a bittersweet love song,
as summertime romance is left behind.
All too soon summer love is forgotten,
as homework and grades fill the mind.

There is a place in Heaven for kittens,
a place they play and all have a ball.
Roll around on soft billowy clouds,
angel cats catch them if they ever fall.

Older cats earn their special wings,
after they use up all ninelives below.
The day they die and go up to Heaven,
they receive their wings and a halo.

They protect and care for the kittens,
nurture and teach them to get along.
Angel cats will always be near by,
all meowing a sweet heavenly song.

When a cat or kitten passes away,
not to worry, they are Heaven bound.
Now be quiet and listen carefully,
from clouds you hear purring sounds.

To feel your breath upon my cheek,
you wile and woo me in my dream.
My senses working ovetime,
can not believe how real it seems.

Drawn to a memory so beautiful,
obsession I would surely die for.
Dwell in sleepless nights forever,
searching dreams forever more.

How I long to have you lay beside,
body trembles at the thought of you.
No one could ever take your place,
no other lover will ever do.

Blessed in His image from creation,
spirit within lies in wait.
Force like no other, new sensation,
bestowed by one so great.

Hardship rush in on crashing waves,
undertoe sweeps you under.
Holy Spirit within, reaches, saves,
soul that is assunder.

Through birth the Lord has given me,
all His stregnth to call upon.
When life turns bleak I turn to Thee,
darkness and pain are gone.

God's grace is enough to sustain,
how my heart overflows.
From birth to death His love remains,
reap the rewards He sows.

January's frost on the window,
look out, see the crystal snow.
Meadow stretched and barren,
hills peek with highs and lows.

February always bitter cold.
short cold month of the year.
Groundhog looks for shadow,
reminder springtime is near.

March brings signs of life,
nose pressed on window pane.
Eyes captivated by robins,
red breast friends home again.

April baby bunnies scamper,
warren covered with daffodils.
Meadow alive with wildflowers,
time of renewal on the hills.

May brings warmth to meadow,
a beautiful nature scene,
Eyes watch playful chipmunks,
cross rolling carpet of green.

June buttercups dance in wind,
sway to and fro in harmony,
Fragrance drift on the breeze,
past love filter back to me.

July's sun beats down on greens,
waits to quench thirst in rain,
Thunderhead rolls across field,
past love disappear once again.

August the meadow is a flutter,
fledglings have learned to fly,
Anticipation of autumn's arrival,
offspring leaning to survive.

September brings back the frost,
trees beyond meadow change,
Colorful hues create magnificence,
upon the distant mountain range.

October is strewn with pumpkins,
soon picked neath harvest moon,
Beauty is fading away slowly,
soon nature will sings new tune.

November's meadow looks bare,
no beauty or color seen at all,
Old Man Winter knocks on door,
snow will cover bareness of fall.

December's wonderland snowfall,
melts, drips upon window pane,
Gaze out on new fallen softness,
reflect on past year once again.
