What is a MYP?

MYPs (Members of Youth Parliament) are elected annually in every part of the UK. There are currently over 500 MYPs and Deputy MYPs. Once elected MYPs meet with MPs and local councillors, organise events, run campaigns, make speeches, hold debates and ensure the views of young people are listened to by decision makers. The most important aspect of any MYP’s job is to make sure they represent the views of the young people in their constituency.

Well done Miss Khan. Lots of duas for your future.

I am good and well, well long way from snow, about almost a week, I mean out of the Queens land and in the lands of King A Khan (Asparuh Khan)

Its realy very pleasant here, winter yes but very mild, sunny and fresh. But no snow.

Olldman ka kayaa kasoor?


At the airport, Security checks, before the boarding lounge. Olldman is standing in the queue behind a mixed bunch of girls, my age (old ladies) one of them measures me up, gives me a curious look. Olldman sets his pose right tries to look even smarter and at the same time plays dump,........well wouldn’t you. It’s a long way before we get to the point of scanners and body search, another 15 minutes.

She doesn’t say anything but keeps looking at me and the big D&G belt (fake one) in my hand.

At this point Olldman is a little disappointed realising she is actually trying to work out if I had escaped a mental institution.

She must have seen me take the belt off my waist, and most likely she had not travelled on an aeroplane
lately. I figured she did not understand why I took my belt off and naturally she wanted to protect herself.

Finally I whispered to her, Sadist! one word that’s all, sadist.... Fireworks now, she was ready to chew my head off. I don’t know what she told one of her colleague standing next to her with a jubbah, a Muslim girl. Now she changes her mind too about this handsome smart looking Olldman. The respect I had felt earlier had disappeared.

We reach the security check and she seemed concerned and gets busy observing as to what is going on with her friends, 6 appx.

All done with the security check, I reach the other end and she is still packing her laptop into the brief case, just as I walk away I noticed she had started to put her belt on.

Now it was my turn to return the favoure and I did give her a deep suspicious look.
Ten metres away and I had to stop to see her doubling with the laughter; she could not move or stop laughing. Everyone just stopped and looked on.

I moved on to the lounge, still wondering why she burst out laughing. Oh well that’s life, what may have been boring moments, turned into none boring moments.

Wonder if she ended in an assylum.

Catching up with Wright bros is not an easy task, as I have just discovered, these birds are really very beautiful and they fly with incredible grace, unrivaled agility. You really have to see them close up to appreciate their flying grace.
