I dreamed of a man,
Too good to be true.
For only in fairytales,
Are there men like you.
I dreamt of you daily
And longed for your touch,
Time couldn’t go by fast enough.
My bag's all packed
And ready to go.
Could it be really?
Soon I will know!
My tummy in knots.
My heart a pure wreck.
I thought to myself, he loves me,
But hasn’t seen me yet.
A thought that I pondered again and again
But concluded that my worst case scenario,
Would be a life long friend.
You were everything I imagined,
From your looks to your touch.
But what happened next, there was
No imagination big enough.
Feeling your lips pressed upon mine,
You sent me into pure love's bliss.
So tender and soft,
Filled with passion and lust.
It felt so perfect,
So right, as our tongues danced
Together in the heat of the night.
The time had come
Where I knew it had to end,
I cried like a baby in front of my friend.
They were tears of sadness but more so of joy
Because what I had dreamed and imagined
Had now come to life.
It’s not that often dreams come true
But to be so blessed,
