Thank you Lord for my dear friend,
a friend to me till earth life ends.
Gives me faith when I feel broken,
so much love that goes unspoken.
Deep in my heart a special place,
no time or distance can erase.
Quells my fears whenever I ask,
helps me through my daily task.
To reach for me when I am down,
give me smiles when others frown.
Help keep my faith strong and alive,
let rightousness be what I strive.
To be my eyes should I be blind,
forever friendship warm and kind.
A bond that weathers stormy days,
help me through life's hurtful ways.

Another year friendship has grown,
