Through winding roads of childhood,
teenage years so misunderstood.
Journey begins to paradise,
making decisions dumb and wise.
Search daily for meaning of life,
stumbling, falling amid our strife.
In the distance we hear the call,
victory sounds beyond the fall.
Walk in darkness searching for light,
come to me this long lonely night.
Let me know you, quench my thirst,
lift me up this soul so cursed.
A brand new day a brand new me,
for now I know I am worthy.
God blesses all in many ways,
with friends who care and sunny days.
Makes our long journey worth while,
travels with us every mile.
He only wants our love and praise,
to live our lives in godly ways.
Upon the road with twists and turns,
one who stumbles is one who learns.
We all will fall upon our face,
God lifts us up with love and grace.
