Very true, education makes the difference. Unfortunately, people know very little about their religion yet speak with authority.

When we say there is no one right answer to any question, it means the subject knowldge is still evolving. In case of Islam, those questions have definite answers, we only need to dig them out from where we burried them.

oh yeah...i mean i just heard a khudba last friday about juma. It was really nice. the guy was saying Islam is one but evryone from the different countries has thier own ways of practicing it. Some people call themselves sunni some shia...and whatveer else. I mean...ther is only Islam....and we are all muslims..you know...do you getme,....

sighing...some people jsut read quran withoutn knowing its meaning or believe what is heard without asking for a reference.

I mean I jsut met a paki girl a few mons ago. She tried to tell me that it is in the quran if a girl doesnt spend the wedding night with her husband that her valima will not be accepted.

i laughed and then hesitated...and told her. thats not true. and if shes so sure of it to show me where in the quran it says that. she stil is so convinced but she never got back to me. i know for a fact that is not true. i never read it anywhere.
