A soldier travels some pretty tough roads,
carrying so many burden, heavy loads.
He faces danger, obeys his command,
for love of country he will take a stand.

Beneath the exterior, this rugged man,
beats the tender heart of a gentle lamb.
Love for his children shines in his eyes,
can also be seen in his tearful goodbyes.

Gentle giants fight for what they believe,
at times wear their hearts upon their sleeve.
Sons and daughters miss them so much,
These big teddy bears with the gentle touch.

A little so maucho, but their hearts melt,
watching the children, warm feelings felt.
They let their guard down arriving home,
playtime, naptime, sweet dreams to roam.

The many sides of a soldier's life we see,
show how sweet and tender they can be.
For these fine men and woman truly care,
fearless and brave, yet soft teddy bears.
