maybe people say it because they want that person to remain anonymous, that they don't want to mention them say to a current partner?? maybe i'm not really sure, but it's a common expression, don't knowt the origins though, but it was commonly used for something that is not in fashion anymore (like an antique) so maybe thats the sort of view they are giving of their "Ex"

but it's not only used in relationships, it could be used to quote something that took place or was formerly e.g. the ex world champion of........ and you know the rest.

Lolz..it's kinda funny, of course you like to believe that because you live and brought up in a country you adopt their nationality, but then if you trace your roots then obviously they come back to pakistan, but what about americans...i mean white americans, American Indians are native to that country but the whites believe that they are American...silly, if you trace "their" roots they come from all over the world. So why ar us pakis, called pakis no matter where we live. Tecnically we aint pakis if we were born and raised for generations in a foreign country, aint we brits? aint we French, aint we Americans?

We're kinda lost, cos when we in Britain, we are pakis, but when we go to our "home" country we need a Visa cos we aint pakistani citizens and when we there we are the "valaitis" yeah so what exactly makes us paki if even out home country disowns us....me, i was so strongly a paki, that i got me a NADRA card, and i had to pay to be a Pakistani citizen. but i'm still feeling displaced.

The only thing i don't have to pay to be, the only thing that no one would question me about being is Muslim, i'm a muslim and i'm not taxed for it. End of story

Parents do trust their kids, (i think this normally applies to young daughters...am i right?) parents just don't trust other people, for instance, your daughter can be really sensible she could be understanding and knowing of what is right and what is wrong, a parent can recognise that, but parents don't know what "other" people will think of their daughter, aghar apna imaan saaf ho, zuroori nahin ke sab ka imaan saaf hai, matlab not everyone is the same. parents don't really have trust issues with their kids, they have trust issues with ther people, people who gossip, people who don't see a human in the right way if you know what i mean. But then again in contrast...theres always a black sheep in every flock and that can't be changed. If a child can't be trusted, then they shouldn't be trusted.

Me.....I work I study, i'm free, i have high goals and theres no limit to education in my family. I maintain my parent's trust, theres a line and i won't go over it, i've been given the freedom and i respect my parents, i respect their image and most of all i respect myself. Sometimes when my parents say no, of course i get annoyed, of course i yell and shout and tell them tht the don't trust me, but as you get older it all comes together and you understand, i don't regret it for a second. You never believe them when they say "It's for your own good" and at the end you realise that they weren't lying, thats when you get the respect you get the praise and everyone likes praise lol.

The colours I tend to go for are soft colours, creams, peaches, sky blues, elegant colours, not into the loud shocking pinks, reds, dark purples, I like all colours but soft shades…My favoiurite colour has to be Blue though. I personally feel that no one is "Ugly", and also sometimes beauty is skin deep. i don't mean that beautiful people are .....mean nasty and selfish etc. But then, if we don't believe that anyone is ugly, when it comes to ones self, a person sees themself with the most critical eye, we aren't all Narcissus, if u know what i mean. So it's easy to say that u are ugly and also believe it, but when saying that someone else is ugly, a person only says that in order to make themselves feel better. By criricising another it makes you feel.....beautiful. But then again hats just my opinnion.
