bollywood going global is just sh*t, the only people who watch it are indians, bollywood going global is one the funniest thing i have heard. if all indians go out of there country to settle in other countrys doesnt mean there going global, it means there in search for a better life, which they cant find in india.

boss bollywood has no chnace against hollywood either,
another false point . the only reason why indian cinema is becoming global is for the fact that it doesnt compete against hollywood but is like another alternative to it . even with hollywood bolllywood movies are seen all over the world and are appreciated. yes there is a language barrier and that is the only impediment . the viewership increases and the budget increases . bollywood is on a mission to make its mark and enjoys tremendous govt. support. course hollywood is bigger and we r tryin to get there .
trying to get there how? by copying them, i dont think so, by coping all there films you are just taking a step backwards. i dont really blame them actully cos creativity doesnt really exist in india, so please dont insult hollywood,

well all the talented people are working in serials, music or in tv, those people have talents on par with hollywood film makers, take the telefilms for example for a film with a budget of 20 lacks they are awsome. i can garentee you, if the tv industry moves into film making, then bye bye bollywood.
are u tryin to kid urself . ..lol keep dreaming . ur tv is a direct censored and unglamorous version of indian channels . its boring . no one wants to see it . pak prolly produced a couple of plays that are worth watching and that also decades ago . now the indian television overwhelms pretty much all of south asia and africa . even the mainstream US channels show indian movies . u have so many restrictions on ur artists and urs is an islamic country so there s no chance for showboz to compete against other free countries. if u want real competition then allow indian channels and indian movies and then see how ur sorry showboz industry vanishes. in india hollywood movies release the same day as they are in the USA . all major studios are here investing in bollywood projects. we have MTv and channel V . our fashion industry is at par with any in the world with regular features on FTv and india fashion week attracts fashion afficianados from all over the world . we have more Ms worlds and universes than any other country in the world . there s a culture of entertainment in our society where there are theatres galore , karaoke bars . discos and nite clubs everywhere . millions go watching movies on a daily basis . we have unrestricted flow of channels and information from almost any part of the world . hell even ur artists defect to india for greener pastures cause they do not get the money or respect an artists deserves . look at our artists , they get hollywood offers, have their statues at madam tussads and go on to become chief ministers and parlimentarians and are stinking rich while a grrt artist like mehdi has to struggle to raise money for his treatment in pakland. i have seen how u still treat ur artists as marasis and kanjars . there is no respect for these enormously gifted people . showbiz like i said is the part of the fabric of society we live in . if its not free it wont thrive. think about it .
mate, our tv is is on par with hollywood, its an insult to pakistan to compare it with indias tv. Even your films are direct lifts of pak dramas and telefilms. indian television itself is an insult to tv, 90% of all dramas have the same storyline with different actors. even zee tv has shifted to pak dramas and programes. No one wants to see indian tv anymore, it sucks.
and no pakistan isnt an islamic country, its a secular muslim country, there really arnt any restrictions for the programes.
pak dramas have even been played on channel 4 in the uk.
and indian fashion basicly sucks, pakistan has its own fashion week next month and it has attracted people from all over the world.
and how can you forget music, we are allready the leaders of music in india, need i say anymore.
and no bollywood really isnt showbiz, its an industry which clones other showbiz's. so i think you should think about it.

she is gone crazy, she met Mubasher Lucman few weeks ago and was telling him that she is more ***y then bipasha basu and to prove her point, she wants mubasher to make a remake of jism.
her film in india grossed 2.2 crores and her last two films in pakistan had grossed over 4 crores each she should realise where people give her more importance....

Syed Noor making film on honour killing
Staff Report
LAHORE: Film director Syed Noor has announced that his next film, titled ‘The price of honour’, was based on honour killings.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Noor said he had been making social and romantic films but from now on he would only direct issue-based films. He said that it took him a year to think and work on the idea of making a film on honour killing.
He said he was not making such films for international fame rather wanted to do convey a message through his films. He said the story of the film was 75 percent true which revolved around women killed in the name of honour.
Noor said that he would also focus on the Hudood Ordinance in the film, which had not been clearly stated by the government. He said he would face the censor board bravely if they removed the ordinance issue from the film.
The director said that it was a low-budget film with a new cast and there would be no songs in it. The running time of the film would be 100 minutes which was a new experiment, he added.
He said the film was set against the backdrop of Firozepura village in southern Punjab and would be completed in the next three months. He said he would send the film in the Cannes Film Festival in January. The film’s producer is Afzal M Khan and is jointly written by Noor and Khan.
He said the film’s main story was that a young schoolteacher was raped in front of the whole village as punishment because her brother had a relationship with a feudal lord’s sister.
He said that the National College of Arts (NCA) was teaching film-making in its Film and TV Department but it did not invite people from the film industry to teach students about films. “To me, bookish knowledge is easy to convey but it is difficult to teach film-making in a practical manner,” Noor said.

and yea processing in bankrok is expensive thats why people are going india now, but i think they are quite unprofessional and the people down south of india are much more professional and pakistan should be using them.
