Gingerbread Latte

I would like to order a latte,
one third espresso, nice and steamy.
Pour the same time, I like that way,
two thirds will be milk, nice and creamy.
Steamed milk and foam, garnish on top,
nutmeg, gingerbread cookies we crush.
It is tasty, good to the last drop.
now it is ready, creamy and lush.
Serve mine in a glass, napkin to hold,
piping hot milk could easily burn.
Will not accept latte that is cold,
satisfaction or I shall return.
