Mystery and wonder in joy and sorrow,
searching for meaning where there is none.
Ecstasy in agony as we meet our destiny,
somber in thought of unfulfilled desires.

The tears of birth, the silence of death,
shattered dreams in our fallacy of hope.
Cry out for comfort in a voice of despair,
expectations to be met are shattered.

Somewhere, somehow in all this madness,
I shall find the strength to face the years.
Exploring the path of life's miseries,
accepting the good and bad I have known.

I have grown through the torment of love,
never to allow my life to be bound by pain.
Draw upon each breath I conquered my fears,
never shall I surrender or cease to love life.
