The Road to Nowhere To travel the road to nowhere. The soul's dark amazon. Eternal peace is anywhere, the mind might set upon. To travel the road to nowhere. To know you're really gone. And when you finally get there, to find your god is Ron. There's something in the cupboard, boy. There's something in the dark. There's something in the cupboard, boy, that leaves a lasting mark. There's something in the cupboard, boy. Old secrets gather dust. There's something in the cupboard, boy, that reeks decay and must. To travel the road to nowhere. Reading signposts from beyond. As self-deceit completes defeat, a cold ghost light is shone, on Ron. On Ron. He learned to sham at his father's knee. He knew the power of story. He lived by lies and fantasies, and dreamed of fame and glory. So travel the road but beware, for he drew an arcane map. His weak and dismal followers, could see no fatal trap. But in his inner circle, his worth would soon reveal. To those that rail and cavil, he'd crush beneath his heel. There's something in the cupboard, boy. The sweetest scent of musk. There's something in the cupboard, boy, as warm and moist as lust. To travel the road to nowhere. It's not the smoothest ride. To have all faith you must defer, to a self-referring guide. To travel the road to nowhere. To avoid the rush and throng. Unravel in the space of somewhere, and sing a specious song. There's something in the cupboard, boy. It's got an evil breath. There's something in the cupboard, boy, that toys with fear and death. To travel the road to nowhere. And wield your magic wand. A shuffling prisoner of despair, when fragile hopes abscond. To travel the road to nowhere. A funeral dress you don. All truth is moulded out there, like a Sci-Fi writer's con. There's something in the cupboard, boy. You hear it scratch and whine. There's something in the cupboard, boy, both bedevilled and divine. To travel the road to nowhere. To follow a different sun. To travel the road with due care, not to end as you begun. To travel the road to nowhere, to life's grim denouement. Be sighted by the cross hairs, released from earthly bond. To travel the road to nowhere. Your face is drawn and wan. Your self-belief masks hidden grief, while the thief of time moves on.

Words Are Not Enough The words "I miss you" can not display The depths of how I care. The words "I want you" do not betray The extent of what I dare. The words "I need you" can not convey The extent of my prayer. The words "I love you" do not portray The heights of my err.

Shadows of yesterday lurk within the mind. darkness creeps ever so slowly to overtake. As night beckons to fears and hopelessness, suffering of the weak, the world forsakes. Will total eclipse be seen as never ending, as the battle for survival rages deep within? Can a totured mind become an army of one, is there still enough inner strength to win? Shall we rise with the moon and bring forth, find courage even when standing all alone? When tomorrow appears, will the sun shine, come the dawn will dark clouds be gone? Fortitude trying hard to become victorious, by over coming all the odds and adversity. My mind tetters back and forth on the edge, slowly drifts back into the world of reality. Let my faith be my broadsword of courage, a blade of steel to let me pierce a new day. May the warmth of worldly goodness shine, may winds of war in my mind blow away.

I waited in line for nearly an hour, then climbed to the top of the tower. Looked like the slide would amuse, but now I think my lunch I will lose. Should have thought twice at the top, once I let go I knew I wouldn't stop. What was I thinking, I must be a nut, to want to feel this pain on my butt. Can't close my eyes, too bugged out, holding my breath I can't even shout. Never thought it went fast or so high, everything is a blurr passing me by. My brother said it would be a fun ride, said it would be a real nice slow slide. All I can do now is pray it ends quick, oh no I am about to become sick!

A day to rejoice, a day to kneel and pray, miracle happened on waters murky gray. It was not fate or luck or happenstance, everyone saved by God, not by chance. One moment the sky was peaceful, blue, next moment thought their life through. From Heaven, His hands reached out, when He heard voices pray and shout. He laid them safely upon the river deep, kept them afloat as water began to seep. Then one by one he led them to dry land God granted a miracle within His hands. The faithful were saved along with the rest a day when their faith was put to the test. Yes a miracle happened, I have no doubt, God showed what His love is truly about.

Because you’re Beautiful This poem’s addressed To you Because you’re beautiful No matter what You do Because you’re beautiful The sun rises Every day Because you’re beautiful The mist shrouds a Dreamy day Because you’re beautiful A blossom blooms and holds Its scent Because you’re beautiful Songs sung in your heart Are meant Because you’re beautiful Reflections shine And glint Because you’re beautiful Just in case you may have Any doubt This poem's heaven sent To tell you You are beautiful And that is what this poem Is about

I hope to never see a red seal Covered in crimson blubber And if I did then I would hope It was just made out of rubber I would be in big big trouble If it was not fake but real But I am safe now because A boy is riding atop the seal

I hope to never see a blue goat It would be something I would heed Since I never saw one before I would be drunk or high on weed Just the thought of a blue goat Is enough to boggle my mind Time to come down back to earth And leave this crazy trip behind

Upon the sweetness softly lay, bittersweets neath morning ray. Rows of beauty mid the winery, winter beckons and calls to me. Taste the snowflakes upon lips, thoughts lingering of sweet sips. Blanket of ivory atop the ground, falls from sky with nary a sound. Valley lay silent this early morn, vines glisten as new day is born. Drink the red from nature's wine, winter in valley so sweet, devine.

Angels sing a birthday lullaby, heavenly they sing their song. On billowy white clouds above, sweet voices are drifting along. Precious are babes with wings, held in arms, wrapped so tight, How glorious to be in heaven, angel babies take to flight. Looks down at her grandmom. hoping that she would know. How wonderful Heaven is, and not be sad she had to go. Birthday lullabys for Chloe, beautiful child of our King. Remember her joy and smiles, join in when the angels sing.

A special world for you and me A special bond one cannot see It wraps us up in its cocoon And holds us fiercely in its womb. Its fingers spread like fine spun gold Gently nestling us to the fold Like silken thread it holds us fast Bonds like this are meant to last. And though at times a thread may break A new one forms in its wake To bind us closer and keep us strong In a special world, where we belong.

Heart full of love throughout years, always there to dry all my tears. Looking back I can so plainly see, what a blessing her love is to me. Instills faith from good Lord above, to generations gives motherly love. Revered and respected each day, taught what Good Book had to say. Songs played by soft angelic hands, of a sweet mother who understands. Tickles the ivories praising the Lord, teaches family harmony and accord. She gave to me all that I am today, pillar of strength in so many ways. Center of all that was kind, good, always helped all that she could. So much love for her is expressed, a mom and grammy she is the best. When needed a rock she was mine, mom let me be your rock this time.
