I feel so lost and alone I just need a sign to guide me No matter how deep I dig I can’t find the strength inside me It all seems to fall apart Just when I think things are good No matter how hard I try Things never end up the way they should I’m an empty shell of a person With nothing left to give I’m ready to raise my white flag Because this is no way to live

I see a girl, little, but tough. I see a daughter, strong, but rough. I see a niece grow into a girl, with love and joy inside her world.
I saw her smile, a cute baby smile, with dimples that can reach for miles. I saw her brown eyes, shine in the light with nothing to fear, but oh so bright.
I watched her grow, walk and talk, She hated playing with a Jack in the Box. She laughed and cried, though she didn't give up, but tried.
So now she's fifteen, just a beauty queen. Like a cat with lives, I saw her life before my eyes.

There is no change, only illusion, all of this human world dreamed, like the invented walls of a haunted house, strobe light flicking to disorient, music so loud you can no longer hear the voice in you heart that whispers, All is well. You are safe. All is well.
The lines at your eyes are only your imagination, maps of the tears you have cried, and the joy that you’ve laughed, and the times you’ve thought that love was lost when, in fact, love is all there is.
There is no change, and no separation. There is nothing and nothing is everything, spinning globe like polished marble in the palm of your hand; the land you walk that you seek to destroy, the sun burning out as you keep on birthing.
There is only this walking, backward and forward, newness, oldness, death. And there is no death, only survival; no purpose but the need to sing a song that lives in the clanking chambers of your heart,
heart unwrapped and cracked like candy, a song that sounds like rain and fire.
There is no change, only a slipping from one veiled room into another.

One step in, she knew she was in trouble. Twigs snapped underfoot like tiny spines and the soles of her shoes were thin. The basket was heavy. It dug into her arm, but she thought of the saints, how they suffered to prove their love. I love, she thought. I am. She sang to keep herself company about stars and hope and fever and her voice rang through the forest, a sound she could almost recognize. Tree branches seemed to reach for her, with their long fingers and promises of sleep, but she kept walking, toward the house, or the image of the house recreated in her heart, the house that she remembered, but amplified. Her bones ached with cold even though the cape was wool. When she saw it, when it rose up in the clearing, amber light glowing in the windows, smoke puffing against the muted sky, she almost wept with relief. And there was her grandmother in the doorway, leaning out for her in calico, taller than she should be, a little too insistent. Of course she knew right away what had happened, the way we all know the truth in an instant, but she was so tired and there was no place else to go.

I am a human being carried inside the womb born into the world.
I am a human being living in life's whirlwind Up and down life does flow.
I am a human being living in a world as a child all of the day watching life through eyes of wonder and delight Living and learning as in the flesh my life does grow.
I am a human being another cannot truly know for the secret of my life and being is in me not in the seeing.
I am a human being judge my worth my value to humanity Call me "sub-human" say that time has robbed me of my personhood...... Take my life but know this what you take from this world you can never put back The life that is mine can never be yours, once you take my life you have not the power to return my life to me.
What I think you cannot know Through my eyes you cannot see the thing of this world that matter to me But know this what you do to the weakest among humanity is known to the creator of all things even in the darkest measure of a man's soul there shines the shadow of truth.....
Judge not by what you see the value of another human being... The life that does not belong to you- you cannot know For if you did you would hang your head in shame to think you had judged a human being according to the look of his flesh and rejected any thought that the spirit within is the measure of the man.
I am a human being you cannot walk in my shoes you cannot feel and think for me You cannot no how much or how little I value the life inside of me.
Take mercy on the flesh and respect the right to life just to be.

For awhile I float, In time I sink to the dark abyss. No one can travel to pull me up. The pressure pulverizes my pieces, I become the sand, Just a tiny grain to him, Forever looked past.....
