The Road to Nowhere

To travel the road to nowhere.
The soul's dark amazon.
Eternal peace is anywhere,
the mind might set upon.

To travel the road to nowhere.
To know you're really gone.
And when you finally get there,
to find your god is Ron.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
There's something in the dark.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
that leaves a lasting mark.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
Old secrets gather dust.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
that reeks decay and must.

To travel the road to nowhere.
Reading signposts from beyond.
As self-deceit completes defeat,
a cold ghost light is shone,
on Ron. On Ron.

He learned to sham at his father's knee.
He knew the power of story.
He lived by lies and fantasies,
and dreamed of fame and glory.

So travel the road but beware,
for he drew an arcane map.
His weak and dismal followers,
could see no fatal trap.

But in his inner circle,
his worth would soon reveal.
To those that rail and cavil,
he'd crush beneath his heel.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
The sweetest scent of musk.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
as warm and moist as lust.

To travel the road to nowhere.
It's not the smoothest ride.
To have all faith you must defer,
to a self-referring guide.

To travel the road to nowhere.
To avoid the rush and throng.
Unravel in the space of somewhere,
and sing a specious song.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
It's got an evil breath.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
that toys with fear and death.

To travel the road to nowhere.
And wield your magic wand.
A shuffling prisoner of despair,
when fragile hopes abscond.

To travel the road to nowhere.
A funeral dress you don.
All truth is moulded out there,
like a Sci-Fi writer's con.

There's something in the cupboard, boy.
You hear it scratch and whine.
There's something in the cupboard, boy,
both bedevilled and divine.

To travel the road to nowhere.
To follow a different sun.
To travel the road with due care,
not to end as you begun.

To travel the road to nowhere,
to life's grim denouement.
Be sighted by the cross hairs,
released from earthly bond.

To travel the road to nowhere.
Your face is drawn and wan.
Your self-belief masks hidden grief,
while the thief of time moves on.

The day was perfect…like no other
Like the wind blowing
down on my face…
I could actually feel it this time
Even when it was cold-
It still felt…magical

With the trees by my side
Under the sun, and below the sky
Green grass and green leaves
were blowing with the trees-
They were smiling…
Smiling down at me
They were-
Beautiful

The sun was warm beating down
on my face…
It was like magic-
With happinesss and nature’s scent
surrounding me…

I felt happy
I felt like I was flying
Like I was walking on water

At the same time feeling the wind
blowing and once again…
I smelled nature’s scent all around
me…I could never fall

It was me..
Truly unique-
And beautiful

yehi barsoon say aadat hay

aur aadat kab badalti hay,

usay chaha usay pooja,

Smile at the sky
It’s so pretty
It sets me free
When I’m sad
I go outside
When I’m happy
I go outside
A smile emerges on my face
So far and wide
Just like the sky
The smiling sky whom I smile back to
Smile at the sky

Are you happy?
You’re already outside and smiling
Are you sad?
Get your ass outside and show the sky a smile
Smile at the sky
Smile at the sky
And give him a grin or two
Remember he loves you too
Smile at the sky
Smile at the sky

I smile when I am shy
I smile when I want to cry

I smile when I am sad
I smile, when I just go mad

I smile when I am envious
I smile when I am very jealous

I smile when I am happy
I smile when I feel shaky

I smile when I am emotional
I also smile when I act abnormal

I smile when I am overloaded
I smile when I miss my beloved

I smile when I think something
I smile when I think just nothing

Do you know why I am smiling? When I smile at you?
Dear friend, I think it’s a very tough question I asked you! !

Never mind whatever be the reason behind my smile,
Dear, just pass me a smile, at least I feel good for a while

Remember where you came from.
Remember where you have been.
Remember whom you have encountered.
Remember whom you have known,
Remember joyous moments.
Remember sorrow too.
Remember all the lessons.
Remember the lessons you forgot.
Remember your Father.
Remember your Mentor.
Remember Mother Earth.
Remember the universe.
Remember to remember.
Remember gratitude.
Remember to be humble.
Remember your heart.
Remember always to love.

Moon
-------

I think I will go catch the moon tonight,
hanging there in the galaxy.
Soaring up there like a big silver kite,
yes I will catch the moon for thee.
I'll hide it under my pillow tonight,
hide its soft and gentle beams.
I'l show it to you by its silvery light,
which gently and softly does glimmer and gleam.

I think I'll go catch a handful of night,
I'll hide it in a jar for thee.
I'll show it to you by its starry light,
so the beautiful night in the day you may see.

I think I'll go catch the North Star tonight,
as it casts its silvery light 'pon me.
Beautiful, elegant, shining, and white,
yes I will catch the North Star for thee.

~tasha~ says
I remember a night under bold moonlight
where eyes of mother fox and brood, teemed
with captured summer moon bright
some newborn night time glows, it seemed;
so amusing, I sat down to take in the sight,
a glorious blazing moonlit night.

And then came the sounds: crickets click
a large grey owl swoops the meadow and lands,
small furry thing, scampered so quick,
skittering into the tall and silver bands;
a rabbit in the open field so warily peers
and scans over all to see what it hears.

Pallid clouds, hearts of purpled gray
closed the window to a peek through bars,
then pulled back the curtain as if to day
blinding my view of Milky Way, bright young stars;
blending onto the wavy seas of tall ripe grass;
as deer and fawns paused, glided elegantly to pass;

A curious possum waddled near as ever
looked at me in wonder, to his red and back lit eyes
I might have glowed like a spectre.
So scooted on a few snorts as his good byes
A beaver next, so busy repairing his dams;
a raccoon to the river for mussels and clams.

I strode purposely to the gurgling brook,
dipped for a drink of cool water,
and crayfish flipped away and off he took;
hesitate at the scene but do not falter
as deer and fawns sipped not so far away,
a communion of thirsty animals at play.

Unto a night, where the moon shone bright,
spent among my new sweet friends;
beaver, deer, possum, raccoons, and foxed lamp light,
and little furry things that dared not test wits ends,
where owls whooshed and rabbits stood in silent glow;
I found a place like home in a moon bathed meadow.

‘Smile Please’
I kindly asked
Of a camel one day
When out taking pictures for fun
I never expected what happened next
He just grinned for the camera!
Now I am more wary
Of these two words
‘Smile Please’

Kind friend
You rule this land
Watching over us now
Ever vigilent to danger
Overseeing us at rest and at play
Feared by all who are not your friend
His job to protect us
The fairy trusts
Kind friend

I turn the knob, but the door opens not.
So I try the next one, and it's also caught.
The doors, they're all around.
Millions upon millions...all locked.

And there I am, alone in the darkened corridor.
Scurrying about like a mouse, racing,
to get to my next heartbreak.

Locked, and I haven't any keys.
My tools, and sanity have left me.
But I'll keep running on.
Keep trying every door, looking,
for that perfect, unlocked one.

Is light seeping through that one?
I'll try it again.
And once again, more painful that before,
the door to your heart is slammed shut.

Inspire me...
To be as I can.
Not what I be.
Changing...
An art form in works.
Not to the contrary.
Help me perservere.
Inspiration...
To climb moutains.
Part the seas.
Achieve goals...
See what others not see.
Metamorphosis...
From my cocoon.
Like a butterfly...
Each unique,
And beautiful.
Help me come into my own.

There use to be a time
When i could call you mine
When all i had to do was open my mind
Just to picture you standing by my side

But now all that has changed
My life suddenly rearanged
Shifting everything around
Moving all that i knew; including the ground

And now that is all in the past
My life isn't passing so fast
I can slow down and see
The things i've missed going on around me

I've finally learned how to move on
To look you in the eyes and stand up strong
To walk right past you in the hall
Being able to not care at all

In this life you've tought me many things
Like not to put a promise on some silly little rings
'Cause promises get broken and relationships are through
'Cause now i realize i can live my life without you

Here I sit writing anything that comes to mind.
Be it anything from the past or thoughts of the future.
I wonder what i have missed from the past.
What I did, that could of had a different effect,
on where I sit, right here right now.

I dream of what the futrue holds.
I try to see where i will be.
What i will achieve and what i will do.
Of who will be by myside.

A broken clock defines time
more than it will ever know
Because time keeps ticking
Life keeps living
If I should depart this very day,
what can I give back to this world
to define myself?
Everything it has given me-
Inspiration
