By the way nfakfan!...Reema and others... I have watched all reema(actress) interviews,I frankly say about Reema(Dont mind anybody)Reema is wanting to call a NO. 1 actess,why?she is not acting well,did not do a good role in any movie besided only dance... but recent interview I would appreciate of this statement,she gonna steps about actress's vulgarity which r increasing day by day,she will refused any scene and songs which shows full of vulgarity,but new actress r trying to show body much more,Resham is No. 1 Vulgur Actress("fame for Kriyo ko dale dana").
I am honestly say in lollywood there is no actress to able a excellent actresss,only showing beauty,vulgarity and nudity... Hopefuly for Zara Sheikh....

I wanna inform u about "LarkiPUnjaban",there is a program which shows larkipunjaban editing on computer ,not a manually on table,as usual Z.A Zulfi is the editor of this movie,same as "Laaj" and Z.A Zulfi says for editing there need a latest equipment of editing special latest equipment,he also informed that Shezad Gul(Evernew Studio owner)is bringing a new equipment and sound Plus new color Lab well I will be happiest day then new equipment will come on here.... No sernior actor or actress cannot succeed without any strong role such as Shaan is no doubt good actor,but shaan has a lot of flop movie...We need a cast of according to script,if Saima is suitable to "Larkipunjaban",then Saima will be good and Saima is ok... I watched Saima role in movie "Ghoghat"(96) ,I impressed of 'Ghoghat" role...so I hope for saima will be good role in "Larkipunjaban".

I am also impressed of pakistani people whether they r abroad or in pakistan,they love pakistani product whether bad or good purticularly lolywood most of pakistani hate pakistani movies,but here most of people hope of betterment of movies,I am also with those people... I will remain dedicat of pakistani movies which r improving day by day...Nfakfan is very fast and accurate of posting...and Paki lion also love of pakistani product and pakistanis fight to some indians,I am very happy and proud...but I am fed up of negative think people of pakistan...keep it up...

Yeah,right paki lion! Reema is too jealous for upcoming actress purticularly Zara sheikh and Reema has no good movie of romantic good song picturization and acting,this actor is trying to speak english language,but not a natural way,I am amazed,she is gonna direct a movie....movie direction is very difficult job,unfortunelely some jahel people made a director easily and some are continuesly making a bad movie,Purticularly Sageeta and Shamim Ara,I hate these Double standard actress and Bogus Director....

have u watched a program of PTV WORLD in around 2000 "Dhun Hamary Tumharay Naam Hoye" is great program of paki movie original songs and bollywood copy songs,this program told ,this is also copy version,most of more... Remember I personally analyse 1992 is a year when a lot of paki song and even movie is copied by bollywood,some list have provided by me,and I can tell the songs some...keep watching me..

U all people only should consider big budget and specially new director's movie,so these low budget bad directors movie is causing bad image of lollywood unfortunetely,yeah paki lion equipment is must if Evernew owner specially Shezad Gul has promised in one film based program on prime after 'YDAKH',so hopefully he will do soon...

Thus, the movie may be seen as a response identifying the way out of the quagmire that is sucking the country deeper into disaster.
The British combine forces with influential Hindus to punish the boy, Nur Ali (Imran) and revert Ram Kori (Zara Sheikh), daughter of a rich Hindu who had eloped with Nur Ali, to her scheming uncle's charge. He has already struck a bargain to wed her to a villainous Hindu (Nayyar Aijaz). They transport her to Rajasthan and keep her in heavy irons, waiting for the girl to submit to their designs. But she remains steadfast in love.
So does Nur Ali. Released on bail, he tracks her down, but only to be jailed. He breaks out of jail and escapes with Ram Kori, now going by the name of Nur Jehan and a Muslim again. The Faqir takes on the British on their behalf because a principle is involved. He wins the day but not the war because of treachery by people from within his community.
While Laaj is based on historical events, its value as a comment on present day conditions is very obvious. The British officials' arm-twisting of subservient Maliks can be compared with the imperial and impervious manner with which US leaders deal with spineless leaders of third world countries.
Another relevant note is presented in the commentary at the end, narrating the fate of some central characters. Gulraiz Khan, whose greed makes him a toady of the colonial rulers, is treated contemptuously, but he persists in his ways and eventually brings death and destruction to his own people.
The commentary informs the viewers that his sons became ministers in federal and provincial cabinets after the creation of Pakistan. The country is full of such individuals and their descendents who prospered serving the foreigners and multiplied their material gains after independence.
Talat Hussain returns to the big screen after a long time and displays the range of his brilliant talent in the pivotal role of the Faqir. One wishes there was more of him and the character he renders. That would have imparted a focal point to the movie that Laaj misses, meandering through romance, courtrooms, chases and footage aimed at providing entertainment. The Buz Kushi fight, for instance, is extraneous. The process of establishing other characters deprives Talat Hussain of becoming the man around whom the film is built, which, if it were the other way round, would have enhanced the impact of Laaj.
Other performers fit their roles and play them well but Asif Khan stands out as an unprincipled, self-serving, scheming Malik who is willing to sell his soul for material advantage. Nayyar Aijaz is effectively fiendish. Resham looks good in a brief appearance and the romantic leads, Imran and Zara, prove that they are promising artists. Nirma benefits from guidance by Khanu Samrat and Hameed Choudhry, a master choreographer of the past. Amjad Bobby's music is pleasant and the film features a good background score.
Khalid selects locales that are both picturesque and relevant to the story while cinematographer Waqar Bokhari brings them to life with imaginative work, but it is surprising that the camera is mainly used as static equipment for recording developments and not as a participant in the events. Editor Zulfi adds to the cinematography's impact.
All in all, Laaj is of the top technical quality and Rauf Khalid should be congratulated for producing a different movie. It would have become more absorbing if the characters had more clearly been drawn and focus was kept on the theme and the Faqir. Khalid courageously selected a subject that is unusual for local cinema but has not been able to do full justice to it. The result is lack of viewer support for Laaj at some points and reasonably satisfying reception at others. It is a good effort but needed to be more precisely knit for winning the battle of the box office

but all lahori singer is coming to punjabi because they are failed in urdu album,becuse they know punjab is a big majority of pakistan,this personally think is a cheap sale of their album...Waris baig also,I am sorry to lahori people,they should think karachi,Hyderabad is a big majority of urdu speaking,they dont like these punjabi singing,but I like abrur-ul-Haq Despite of punjabi lanuage,these rhythum is good...
