Even for statistics you need to have numbers. Lets take your example. How many cops are in Karachi? I don't know the number, but Karachi being a big city, I would say over 5000. Now with 51 policemen were caught last year. Thats like 1%.

So you are saying that 1% of Karachi police force is corrupt.

OK, now lets assume that there are another 500 poplicemen who were involved but never caught. That will push the number to 10%. That stil is a lot less than initially stated number

Nikamma is not a nikamma after all. I think Afghan and sun-shine are looking at the issue more from emotional perspective. Lets look at it in more broader way:

1. Was their action legal? No

2. Are they allowed to protest against the ills of the society?     Yes

3. Was their action justifiable?   No

4. Is govt doing his job properly? Debatable

5. Is Pakistan an Islamic State? Debatable

6. Was their action Islamic? NO

So where is the confusion

Its just the old game of pointing finger. No one wants to sit back and look at what they have done wrong. Its much easier to point a finger.

I think Mr Mir is just biased. I don't see how praying in the plane can affect a match on the ground. This simply tells me that he is biased against religious people.

where are you getting your numbers from? Are you talking about police force in a particular area, or in general.

Personally, I think you are just making up the numbers. Yes, there is a problem, but to this extent, I am not buying that.
