Katoon si chubhti hai Tanhai
Angaroon si sulagti hai Tanhai

Koi aa kar hum dono ko hunsa de
Main rotii hoon rone lagti hai Tanhai

Jab bhi tere Hisar se nikalna chaha
Yaadoon k beej bone lagti hai Tanhai

Raat k kisi hise main yeh bhi Bewafa ho jati hai
Main nahi sotii sone lagti hai Tanhai

Tum se judaa ho kar is se hi Dil laga lia hai

Sath roti thi mery,sath hasa karti thi,
Wo larki jo mery dil mein basa karti thi !!

Meri chahat ki talabgar is darja thi k wo,
Musalay pe namazun mein dua karti thi,

Ik lamhy ka bicharna bhi gira tha usko,
Rotay huy mujhko khud sy juda karti thi,

Mery dil mein raha karti thi dharkan ki tarah,
Aur saaye ki tarah sath chala karti thi,

Rog dil ko laga bethi anjany mein,
Meri aaghosh mein marny ki dua karti thi,

Baat kismat ki hai FARAZ !!
Juda hogaye hum , warna wo tou mujhe taqdeer kaha karti thi !!

Kitne haseen the who pal,
Jinhe yaad karte hai hum har pal.
Kise pata tha ke yeh bhi din aayenge,
Jinme hum na tumhe payenge.
Jeete the hum tab bhi aur jeete hain aaj bhi,
Bas itna hai ke bhool gaye jeene ka maqsad hi.
Khwaab tab bhi dekhte the , Khwaab aaj bhi dekhte hain,
Bas itna hai ke inme aaj khud ko tadapta dekhte hain.
Sham tab bhi hoti thi , Sham aaj bhi hoti hai,
Bas itna hai ke suraj ki jagah khud ko doobta dekhte hain.
Chand aur tare jab bhi the , Chand aur tare aaj bhi hain,
Bas itna hai ke inki roshni me khud ko jalta dekhte hain.
Humrahi tab bhi tha, Humrahi aaj bhi hai,
Bas itna hai ke mera humsafar aaj tu nahi hai.....

Agar roone ko ji chahe tu ham roo b nahi sakte
Tume pa bi nahi sakte tumhe kho bi nahi sakte

Khawahish hai ke dil ka ujhala pan har dam rahe qayam
Magar ye daag-e-hijran hai jinhe dho bi nahi sakte

Ajeeb sa khauf hai raaton main dil tanha musafir hai
Jagaye khud ko na jaage ke ham soo bi nahi sakte

Tumhara samna hote hi kia ho jata ham ko?
Ke kuch kehna bi hai mushkil tu chup ho bi nahi sakte....

na wo fiker hai na wo shairy na qalam mein wo tabo-taab hai
main likhun to kaisay gazal likhun mera zehn zere-ataab hai

jo chaman mein bad-khazan chali wo chaman ka husn bhileygaee
na bahar misle bahar hai na gulab misle gulab hai

jo naqab rukh se juda huee nigah-e-harees bhi waa huee
mere dil ko jis ki talash thi ye wahee to jan-e-shabab hai

jo na sajda-haaye khulose ho ussay sajda kahna hai kab rawa
ke khulose hi to namaz hai ke khulose mein sawaab hai

wahi intezaar ke rozo-shub wahi justaju hai wahi thakan
meri zindagi bhi nesaab hai teri zindagi bhi nisaab hai

mera humnawa mera humsafer sar-e-raah milta to hay mager
na salaam hai na kalaam hai na sawaal hai na jawaab hai

yahan aik lamha bhi jabr se kisi taur kam nahin dosto
ke qadam qadam pa saleeb hai ke qadam qadam pa azaab hai

naye jang ki naee aag phir kisi pal kahin na bharak uthay
wo azaan-e-amn to day koi jo faridi kaar-e-sawaab hai...
