Forgive kar dena boht mushkil kam hai... lekin ho jata hai... thori dair ki baat hoti hai... os kay baad sab khalaaaaas... but it is not in control of one to forget something specifically... agar aisa possible hota to har shaks talkh lamhaat ko bhula deta aur khobsurat lamhaat ko yaad rakh kar khush hota rehta... yeh zaror hota hai keh talkh batain mind kay kisi corner mai chup kar beth jati hain... and life goes on normal...
yaa right Forget karna I think Na mumkin hain kyunki yeh hamaray bas main nahi.

Walaikumas Salaam Sun_shine. This is an interesting topic, I was wondering when a topic like this would come up in conversation.
Some people have hurt me in such a way that it is extremely hard for me to forgive & forget. Some things can be easily forgiven & forgotten while others are too hard to even think about letting go.
Some wounds are too deep & too raw to heal, depends how a person see's it. Others will do thing's deliberately that will literally tear a person's heart & soul & something like that is not that easily forgivable, at least not in my case, if someone hurt's my family, I could never let that slide, I'd want to cause as much pain as possible so that they'd know what it feel's like to inflict pain like that upon others.
But I also have to think about what Allah Tallah expects off me as a muslim aswell as a person, In Islam, we're expected to forgive those in order to have our own sins forgiven. I can understand that point & it should stand for every person but when one thinks about all the pain they have indured, forgiving can seem like an insult to one's soul.
I'd like to think that I could maybe just maybe one day forgive those who have hurt me, although realistically speaking, it's not going to happen for a very long time.
Yaa truly said Yaa Its somehow difficult in some situations to forgive.
