Islam doesn't stop you from fun. It only stops indescency and acts of trangression. One can visit parks and public places which offer descent fun so long as the purpose is not to disobey Allah or stepping over Godly bounds.
Allah did not make his religion difficult, people made it difficult. Allah did not make his religion fluid either for people to twist it by their desire. It is a balanced deen which gives freeds and sets bounds to those freedoms also.
for example a relationship between thief and police will be different then father and son when it come to money...
I wonder what yah'd do to friends.
