O' Allah, guide people in Pakistan to truth and deliever them my the darkness of ignorance. No one can guide except you and whosoever you allow to go astray no one can guide him/her. You, Almighty as you said, "Allah is the friend and helper of believers and delievers them from darkness to light and disbelievers are friends and helpers of the evil and rebelious one (satan) who plunges them into the depths of darkness from light", leave our people not to the friendship of satan, for they will only commit acts of shame and disobedience which will anger You. Please have mercy upon our people and save them from utter humiliation in this life and hereafter. Please them from iron clutches of ignorance. Ameen

I don't always believe in "majority rules". Majority may agree to make indescency acceptable but if its against standard morals, I will oppose.
In a nut shell, I do find it offensive in general.
Use of that word is not necessary to express ones feelings. Secondly, allowing use of the word will leave an opening for users who are not selective in their language and expression to stretch it farther than moral limits. i will strongly urge to leave it the way it is.

You do have that opportunity to ask Allah any thing you want- on on one. Pay attention to it and to how he responds to you.
for pains, sufferings, afflictions, hardship ... are a test of patience and hope in the mercy of your Lord. Like Sshah said, we weren't thankful in the time of happiness, prosperity, and richness, instead we wre ungrateful. Trying times are an opportunity to recount blessings we take for granted and praise the Lord for it. Besides, Allah SWT will tell you, "I have not burdened a soul with hardship it can't bear".

Everything is not black or white in the life. You don't always have a choice between "yes or no". There are innumerous tones of white and shades of black. So why do we want to limit ourselves to only two choices? I agree with Fragi and Doc. I would not act on my impulse or preconvieved ideas of "honor is greater than life...". I would definitely weigh the situation between harms and benefits.
