yes punishment is very important but more important is to have fear of God in the heart.

great answers! ...but I have a confusion...
people who were born in India migrated to Pakistan. Their children were born in Pakistan....They were proud Pakistanis....then these children migrated to a western country and became citizens of that contry....they then had children (from parents who were both born in Pakistan). What is the idntity of these kids? They should be proud of which heritage?

A brand of Islam that supports our actions and condemns others.....isn't that what people of book did and allah SWT despises them for that?
Values of our society and culture are not drawn from Islam anymore. They are essentially based on hypocracy. We are really fooled by our own minds and we live in that paradise.

...how can se teach those people and make them understand that women were created by the same God as equal to men. Allah created Hawwa as a partner for Adam just like him to complement him and complete him.

Thanks for responding. I think your perspective would have change somewhat if you had visited Pakistan....I am glad you see the country the way you do.

2nd one is incorrect. 3rd and the 5th are essentially the same. 1st one shows a portion of kashir as part of Pakistan. but ist it the disputed area? India seems to claim the entire Kashmir as its part, including Azad kashmir.

I think this is an incident where a local journalist is trying to imulate the Iraqi journalist who threw shoes at Bush...Iraqi journalist's act was a reflection of total frustration beyond tolerance - his country had been burning at the whim of Bush, and perhaps throwing shoes at Bush were the best way represent the entire nations's feelings....but this is just a way to get attention and 15 min. fame.
World has been on this route and the worse but it has been brought back to normal by external intervention. The owner of this planet cares about it and its inhabitants more than us. We are only required to try.

...and muslims giving others reasons to blame Islam for their actions....people don't live by Islam in Pakistan. They live by psuedo-Islamic norms and cultures which they think and take as Islam...their pride is in their culture, ignorant values, and their un-Islamic practices are sources of their arrogance.
