Hey pal, there's nothing right or wrong if you are setting limits. Harassing girls is immoral because it is against the interest of most people in the society because everyone has a relative girl whom he/she wldn't like be harassed. So limits are set by what is a general good which ignores sufferings of small minority. Child molesting is beyond limits for most people save molesters. Individuals do not set society's limits but they are responsible for personal preferences and choices. Which is not with a consequence in any case.

Exactly! one's heart desires to see and appreciate what is pleasing to eyes, then desires to meet and to get to know it and so on... There's nothing wrong with having desires or wishes, obsession to fulfil it is wrong. The question then is where does it start and how far can it go? My judgement is not better than yours and yours is not better than anybody else's. So who sets the limits?

Outlook is reflective of personality, taste, character, belief etc. What would you make out of the tip of an iceberg? Fever is the symptom of infection. I do not mean insult to anyone, but most people who see us don't get a chance to know us at all. It is a human nature to form an opinion based on the outlook first. A flower is beautiful! that we opine about any flower before we get to know whether it is good for us or not unless we experiment with it. The Divine injunction for women is to cover themselves and not to walk in a way that attracts others attention so that they are recognized as pious and bearer of sound character -- outlook reflects character. Provocative dress-up or act attracts men. On the other hand men are asked to lower their gaze when they see person of other sex to prevent lust and provocation of filthy desires. Of course it sounds like an old concept but it is the matter of belief that issues as such will be decided by Almighty on a day when only He will rule.

So Mr. JH, help me understand that proud world peagent winner, modern, swim-suited indian women are honorable and advanced yet multitudes of more people in India spend nights sleeping on the streets than in Pak. Despite that you would like to think india is modern and prospoerous because it is liberal, poverty in Ind is worse than it is in Pak. Societal values, both in Pak & Ind are deteriorating faster then you and I can think. So how Indian women are better off than their counterparts in Pak? because they can show more skin! so who is slutty? The point is, when swiming in swim-suits becomes a norm in the whole world, what'ld be modern then? swiming naked! Mind you there are already topless and naked beaches, for them swiming in swim-suits is outdated and orthodox. So what's after that? Sex on the street!

Walking in burkas is the choice of women who want to gaurd their modesty and prefer their beauty and body be saved from the glaring eyes of men. Let us respect their choice instead of mocking at them. Wearing burka is not a an act of shame. Act of shame is to walk around half dressed or dressed in a provaocative manner. Westernization cannot be equated to modernization. Women claded in a burqa can be modern also when they are highly educated professionals whose dignity, intelligence and professionalism is viewed and appreciated before their physical appearance is looked upon.

What has happened to Paki pride and honor that we cherished for so long? Why are we bent upon unclothing daughters of our land and throw them on the stage to entertain people around the globe who only view these women as objects of sex and means of fulfilment of filthy desires? I do not want to see my sister drooled upon by the vultures and captives of whims, but I don't know about those who are advocating indecency here in the name of modernization. Does moernization mean leaving modesty aside and embrassing shameful behavior just because it looks new?
